    That's true. More than 4 months left. But we better start beating the Phils, Mets and T.B. SOON.

    My gut feeling is there will be none this season. As of today the Central is only 1 game over .500 vs the West, and down 7 games to the East. Needless to say that if that trend continues the WC's will go to either the Braves, Rockies, Nats, SF and maybe the Dodgers. I find this worrisome. (am I overreacting?) I'm anxious to play the Rocks. I just have to SEE this team for myself. So far they are awesome. (not so much on the road)

    Yep. Tough break that the Braves finally got some hits last night, the most all year. But the Brews are a better hitting team. This makes the 4th straight game that I have to listen to the Atlanta announcers. It's brutal. (when Cards play them I get the Braves feed too)

    Oh my yes. But Card fans that were around in the 80's and saw Herzog can't stand the guy and were elated to see him fired. Yes, regardless of what the announcements were, he was asked to resign. The GM got tired of being the second Banana. We play Ariz tonite and I have never wanted to sweep a team as bad as I want to sweep this one! In your face Tony!

    It amazes me how the media can skew the truth and create a "star". TLR is the classic example.

    This is a good time to be catching the Braves. They just aren't hitting a lick. Tonight's game should be an easy win. Tomorro I consider a toss-up and a must win for the Brews as the matchups in the last two games favor Atlanta. But if Lohse is lights out in his game there's a good chance you guys go 3-1. I see that the game is on MLB TV tonight. I'm curious to hear what the pundits have to say about both teams. Edit: scratch that. Not on MLB. On FSS which I also get.

    Shafer, who lost a high fly ball in the sun in CF to give the Cards the lead earlier is at bat with the bags full now....

    Second only to widespread steroid use IMO. You mean the time they secretly juiced the ball in the mid-90s and then blamed the huge power spikes on steroids despite the lack of any evidence that steroid-use correlates with hitting? Uh-huh.

    It's still early but I think the Bucs are proving last year was a fluke. Totally agree that it's still early, but a complete winning season is no fluke. However, there's no reason to expect the Reds or Cards to collapse and give them a shot at the Brews. 4th place in THIS division is not a place you want to be.

    I see the Bucs lost again to the Yanks in the first game of their twin bill. They're lost!

    The Braves Justine Upton just took Garcia WAY out into the "Big Mac Land" in St Louis. (3-2 Cards now)
