Seeing how the end played out I don't believe CC really cared about any goodwill in the city or state.
  2. Pugger
Why? Managing the team only to get swept in 2 games in the WC round at home?

Favre went to MN because he felt betrayed after GB drafted Rodgers. We offered CC the chance to be the highest paid manager in baseball but got outbid by a franchise with deep pockets. No comparison IMO.

I seriously believe a change in managers was overdue. I think CC took this team as far as he could. I hope we get someone from outside the organization from a winning culture.

I don't think fans will boo him if he becomes the Mets' manager. It's not like he is dissing the Brewers or anything. He gave it his all. I may be in the minority but I believe it is time to move on. He was here for 8 years and I think he got as far as he possibly could with this franchise. A change at that position in Milwaukee might be just what this team needs.

Yup, sometimes you hit 'em where they aren't and other times you hit 'em right at defenders.

I'm almost afraid to google how many runners we left on base this year and/or how many double plays we hit into. Getting that big hit with RISP had been elusive to say the least.

    We peed on ourselves.

No. It is time. If any team was in desperate need of a new direction it is this one.

I think it is time to move on from CC. He took this team about as far as he is capable of. We have some nice talent that a new manager can work with. Pitching is fine. We need someone who can fix our hitting woes. It is damn difficult to win when you can't score.

Corbin was telling the truth. When you don't put your pitches where you want you're gonna get hit.

Like the Brewers? Not being able to score after getting guys on base has been an issue all season and it came back to bite us in the fanny yet again tonight. Yes, it sucks to lose and it will be one huge mountain to climb to win this series now. But seriously, did anyone here in their heart of hearts really believe we could have waltzed into LA and beat the Dodgers with this offense even if we find a way to make it to the next round? Let AZ be their next victim. 🙁

With Woody out we really need Cy Burnes tonight.

    When will we know?

One good thing about Lauer giving up a boat load of runs is it just might convince ÇC to keep him off the playoff roster.
  16. Pugger
Yeah, we didn't see that angle.

Normally BA and Rock don't say anything but that call from NY was bull droppings.
  18. Pugger
    OMG!!! lol
  19. Pugger
Egad. I don't want him around next week either.
  20. Pugger
I'd rather have him than Lauer.

This game is a bigger deal for the Marlins than for us..
  22. Pugger
Rats. Payamps should not be in there.
  23. Pugger
At least you get Milwaukee announcers. Down here we get the Marlins'. Tommy Hutton is pretty good tho.
  24. Pugger
I'm not surprised we are down by 3 here. There might be a subconscious let down after a crazy game yesterday. I just hope nobody gets hurt. This game really doesn't mean anything.
  25. Pugger
Ok, thanks for clarifying that for me. I wasn't sure.
