We might have scored runs but IMO the biggest Achilles' heel for this team is the failure of getting crucial hits with RISP. How many times did we have runners at 2nd and/or 3rd with less than 2 outs and could not put the damn ball in play?

In the end IMO this was an issue. The Crew had a devil of a time putting the ball in play, especially with RISP. When our opponents got more than 3 runs it felt like we were behind by 6. ?

With not much else on TV down here besides Ian coverage it will be a nice diversion to watch the Crews' last game of the season.

Be brutally honest and say you want more than a nice seat and cheap food and beer. Otherwise "crowds" like tonite will be the norm going forward.

If I were Stearns I'd stay in hiding. His actions at the trade deadline doomed this season big time IMO.

I agree. Inconsistent hitting has been a major issue all season. They just have had a devil of a time getting hits when the really need it.

To those who were wondering my hubby and I are in N. Fort Myers, FL and we finally have running water, power, cable tv and internet. Our home had minor damage so we were extremely lucky but the devastation in this area from Ian is mind numbing. It appears the Crew has had a tough stretch this past week. This has been a super frustrating season and should end on Wednesday. It will be interesting offseason for sure.
