  1. Don't. Walk. A. Guy. To. Get. To. Machado. I don't care if you groove one. You can't walk him in that situation.
  2. Thank goodness for the out. I don't know what they were doing screwing around with three low almost-in-the-dirt pitches like that. Soria in.
  3. Guerra, maybe? Peralta? Cedeno? And put Soria or Knebel up if there's trouble. Or do you just go for it and give it to Knebel and Jeffress?
  4. I was super jumpy against the Rockies and thought 3-4 were home runs and most weren't even close. I thought Bellinger's earlier in the game was gone, but I thought his latest one looked like a regular fly ball. I've been awful at judging fly balls so far this postseason, though.
  5. Whew. They were starting to make some solid contact, but a tip of the cap to Josh. Three innings in his first NLCS with no runs allowed.
  6. SANTANA! Keep it rolling, gents! They made them pay. That's what good teams do. Come on, top of the order!
  7. OH MY! I was seriously going to say, "Calling my shot. Woodruff takes Kershaw deep," but didn't. REGRETS! But still... WOODRUFF!
  8. So... does Woodruff only get this inning? Or are they going to let him bat? Otherwise, who's next? Guerra or Peralta? Someone else?
  9. I looked away for a second and only saw his reaction to hitting the ball. I thought it was 3-0 for sure. Whew. Never looking away again.
  10. SWEEEEEEEEP! Pop that champagne, gents. You earned it. What an amazing job by the pitching staff. They clamped them down and didn't let up.
  11. Well, it would have been nice to come through with something there. Maybe get the confidence level up a bit with RISP. Oh well. I'm still nervous. I will be till they're popping champagne.
  12. Hah. Just saw a guy with his girlfriend yell, "Let's go, Rockies," and her reaction was priceless. Basically, "Dude, you just yelled that crap right in my ear."
  13. Burnes looking amazing! I kinda want him to try and close this out, but I realize that's unlikely with his spot up next and Jeffress ready. Anyway, fantastic, fantastic job by him and this bullpen so far. Just three more outs for the NLCS, Jeremy! Let's tack on some runs and not get complacent!
  14. I can't remember the last time I saw Yelich get out three times in a row. You could tell he thought he should have knocked that pitch out of there.
  15. That was huge. The meat of their order and you keep your boot on their neck. Soria looked amazing after those four straight balls.
