    This x1000000. Drives me wild when people talk about supposed value in any walk of life. Your value is what the market dictates it is. You can think you are worthy of a $75K job but if you aren't getting offers at that level then you aren't worth it. Think the Brewers did well, fits the MO of Stearns with young high ceiling middle of the ballpark players, only surprise is no arms but that may still happen, who knows if there will be a 4th piece.

    Wow this probably deserves it's own thread but 29th round pick Donny Everett has passed away. He drown in a lake. He was only 19 and had the world in front of him.

    Streaming out is almost an understatement. When the big fly came off the bat I stood up in left field and let up a huge cheer which my date was none to pleased with but she should have never bet me on the outcome lol.

    I think some of that stuff polices itself. I'm pushing 30 so this is basically the tail end of my generation playing now but I remember when I was younger one game in which we were getting crushed and a player hit a meaningless home run that took us from like down 12 to down 11. He hot dogged it around the bases and then in the dugout and had the nerve to get angry when we weren't celebrating with him. We all made sure to remind him how badly we were getting beat and that was that. I think players are capable of telling when something is and isn't appropriate and will self-police if not. We don't need old timers to tell us how things were once, because that's not how they are any more.

    Not sure if some of you will recall but I follow Alex Cohen, former Huntsville PBP guy, and he worked this past year in the Pioneer League for the Idaho Falls Chukars. He tweeted he saw a ton of Diaz this year (keep in mind the kid won the PL MVP) and said he killed the Chukars and that he think he projects best as a 2B.

    Obviously a lot can change prior to June of 2017, but two college players come to mind: Catcher JJ Schwartz of Florida, and Outfielder (and Wisconsin native) Jeren Kendall of Vanderbilt Schwarz was a 17th round Brewers pick in 2014.

    He had a terrible go of it last year so there'should definite concern but he'said exactly the kind of I guy I'd be targeting for Lind. He was a top 50 prospect to start the year last year and he can potentially play a position of need for us.

    Zach Klein of WSB in Atlanta is reporting per an MLB source that Tommy Hanson has passed away. I read earlier this evening that he was in a coma but didn't have any specifics on what happened. Really tragic news about a once highly touted arm. Best wishes to his family in their time of grief. RIP TH.
