  1. Khris Davis can't play anwhere but LF. Been there done that he is strictly a LF...everything has been tried.
  2. Agreed, that is also what I took out of it...I think Gomez was just one example, not the entire point... Disagree he put Gomez in the title, whole paragraph on just him, and mentions no other names specifically. That leads me to believe Gomez is the worst at it and the root of the problem. Horrible thread and was a jumbled mess of venting.
  3. Did we send him to AAA?
  4. Record:79-83 Playoffs: No MVP: Jonathan Lucroy Surprise: Jean Segura rebounds to be an average hitter Disappointment: Fiers with an ERA over 4.00 All stars: Lucroy Gomez Bold prediction: Melvin trades Lohse and Ramirez at the deadline. Luis Jimenez takes over at 3B the rest of the year and Thornburg gets the starting role.
  5. Red Line is in Skokie, IL. So you could taake the train.
  6. So you provide a link to show they have the 6th worst valuation in MLB and have one of the smallest revenues....yet middle of the pack in payroll. But somehow you think Attanasio is cheap.
  7. We still know nothing about the guy. Sure there are some reports, but the accuracy is questionable. The fact he is likely not to stick at SS hurts his value a little bit too. If ranking purely based on ceilings I could see him #2 behind Monte Harrison in my opinion.
  8. Was originally going to go alone but have decided to downgrade and go with a friend. Ticket is in Sec 122 Row 17 looking for $100 which is what it cost fees included. I can meet in person if distance is reasonable or I can ship it for a small charge.
  9. Honestly I see Lucroy if anyone Brewers related.
  10. Maybe the Brewers go after Wisconsin product Kyle Cody. Throws 98mph and could probably increase it to 100mph in the bullpen. Nasty slider, good command, ground ball type pitcher and workhorse frame makes him a power reliever arm at worst. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he goes Top 10 with his size and stuff.
  11. There is absolutely a 0% Casey Close tells the Astros not to draft any of his players with the #2 or #5 pick...other than Aiken of course.
  12. When do they ship tickets from the presale? Is it not the normal 7-10days?
  13. Missed the "not"...still might as well trade both in that situation. I also don't see them being bad enough to trade away Gomez and quit on 2016.
  14. Craig Coshun doing some of the play-by-plays again...well let me cross those off of my games to watch.
  15. Wow 25....well here goes nothing I guess. I think the fact Clint Coulter is no longer a catcher should be added to the important notes. I feel like he may get overrated if people think he is still a catcher. 1. Orlando Arcia 2. Tyrone Taylor 3. Monte Harrison 4. Kodi Medeiros 5. Clint Coulter 6. Wei Chung Wang 7. Gilbert Lara 8. Corey Knebel 9. Jacob Gatewood 10. Tyler Wagner 11. Devin Williams 12. Taylor Jungmann 13. Michael Reed 14. Taylor Williams 15. Victor Roache 16. Jason Rogers 17. Jorge Lopez 18. Tyler Cravy 19. Marcos Diplan 20. Jed Bradley 21. David Goforth 22. Kyle Wren 23. Miguel Diaz 24. Matt Clark 25. David Denson
  16. That was a joke right? The team would be so much worse after such a trade. I actually don't know where I would start to explain. Parra is an average at best hitter with maybe average defense in CF. I don't see anything positive out of such a move.
  17. Depending on space Tomatoes, Potatoes, Onions, and Corn are some of my favorites. You can grow a plot of tomatos in a small space and you can make so many great things with them. If you like Jalapenos those have grown very well for me too.
  18. I just can't see any real platoon in LF. Gerardo Parra will play when the others are getting rest, when he is pinch hitting, someone is injured, when someone is slumping, and in certain career match ups. Put all of those at bats together and he is getting a good chunk. Sitting Davis against RHPs doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Parra's numbers aren't that amazing vs. RHPs and Davis' aren't that bad. If Parra had Lind type splits I could see it, but not at his current slash.
  19. All of those things(except GBA) happen during commercials and do not effect game time. Getting rid of those things just alter the ballpark experience and would make it as boring as pre 2015 Wrigley.
  20. There is a 0% Centeno makes the team over Maldonado. On another note if Schafer makes the team and we still have Parra someone needs their head checked.
  21. I guess my problem isn't finding tickets it is finding infield tickets. I'd like to stay in the field or loge infield area.
  22. First time going for opening day tickets and came away with a ticket in section 122. Do ticket prices usually drop towards opening day? Thinking about downgrading to go with a friend. Have to be excited for the metal detectors on opening day though...should be a blast getting 40k through there. *Groan*
  23. Part of me wants to take the bait and go with a lot of you on Gennett leading off, but I am going to resist. I also don't think there will be a platoon in LF. vs. RHP Gomez Gennett Lucroy Braun Lind Ramirez Davis Segura vs. LHP Gomez Lucroy Braun Ramirez Davis Maldonado Sardinas Segura
