What the h.ll is going on out here!! Sack up Lucroy. You signed the contract, honor it. Well lets see if we can get some quality prospects for our relievers.

I'm excited about this trade. You can tell we did our homework, especially on a kid like Allen.
  3. DougJonesChangeUp
Greg Allen is a stud. Hopefully Sheffield is in there.

    Mustache Mustache Mustache! http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_MmuSDlN7GQs/SqmnJaATQeI/AAAAAAAADAE/w8hDW12n82k/s320/doug-melvin-brewers-240.jpg

I'm pretty sure the surprise team is the Blue Jays. Russel Martin sucks.
  6. DougJonesChangeUp
Not nice. I said, "Yeah!" then "Wait a second!"
  7. DougJonesChangeUp
I hope Stearns is just trolling the Mets hard.
  8. DougJonesChangeUp
Has Stearns ever gotten wasted with any of these other GMs? We need Melvin who has relationships to step in.
  9. DougJonesChangeUp
We must be getting low balled bad for Lucroy. Nobody is working with the new kid (Stearns). I'd be much happier just to keep Lucroy till the winter meetings than make that trade.

The mustache is walking in the room as we speak. He just grabbed the phone from Stearns. http://bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com/host.madison.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/0/1c/01c8ac50-aba3-558b-81bd-c03840c62033/55bfcb12c08ee.preview.jpg

NOBODY PANIC!! DOUG MELVIN WILL SAVE US!!

    Mystery Team= Blue Jays?
  13. DougJonesChangeUp
NOBODY PANIC!! WE NEED TO STAY CALM!! PROSPECTS ARE ON THEIR WAY!

When the Nats throw Papelbon out there with a 90 mph fastball and crap slider, Jeffress or Thornburg seems like a huge upgrade. It just depends how much the Brewers want to get prospects back. Which shouldn't be much, considering control.
  15. DougJonesChangeUp
Sounds like the other GMs are trying to play with the young kid on the block in Stearns. At least Alderson.
  16. DougJonesChangeUp
Corey Ray makes me question Ray Montgomery's acumen.
  17. DougJonesChangeUp
Indians ownership can't splurge in free agency. Probably why they will be hard to get prospects from. We're dealing with the opposite of the cubs here in the Indians.
  18. DougJonesChangeUp
Nats should be sniffing around Jeffress or Thornburg. Papelbon is terrible.
  19. DougJonesChangeUp
That would point to a winter meeting trade.
  20. DougJonesChangeUp
We'll be lucky to get Zimmer or Frazier. Indians will fight that, probably would kill the trade before including either of them... it'd become a negative for both GMs if no deal happens.
  21. DougJonesChangeUp
    Brady Aiken is a LHP.
  22. DougJonesChangeUp
Aiken has been sitting 86-88 with his fastball this year. Has the Indians worried. It will be interesting to see if he can get his velocity back.
  23. DougJonesChangeUp
I'm sure other GMs are hoping the young Stearns is getting nervous too. Will be interesting to see if he sticks with his appraisal even if it nets us no prospects before winter.
  24. DougJonesChangeUp
Anybody else getting nervous we may be left out during the trade deadline?
  25. DougJonesChangeUp
His fastball sits mid 80s. Hard to see him having success at the upper levels.
