SP: Peralta, Cortez, Civale, Meyers, Henderson
I'm ok with this but one injury leaves Milwaukee weak. I'm high on Henderson.
RP: Patrick, Rodriguez, Ashby, Peguero, Uribe, Koenig, Hudson, Megill
Patrick, Uribe and Rodriguez are question marks.
LF: Chourio
2B: Turang
DH: Yelich
C: Contreras
CF: Mitchell
1B: Hoskins
RF: Frelick
SS: Ortiz
3B: Durbin
Bench: Haase, Montesario, Perkins, Collins
Collins over Black and Dunn.
This roster doesn't have enough to win NL Central. There is not a lot of thump at the end of the order. Possible Additions:
Spencer Turnbull- Rotation Strength Minor League contract with opt out date.
David Robertson- Lights out 7th, 8th and 9th in case one RP struggles. 1 year, 5 million.
Luis Urias- Is he better than Montesario? Minor League contract with opt out date.
Jose Iglesias- Not sure on cost.
JD Martinez- He'd look good batting between Mitchell and Hoskins but the Yelich has to play the OF. Frelick would move to 3B? 1 year, 5 million if he breaks camp with the Brewers. It's a huge gamble and probably a pipe dream thinking he can play 120 games and hit .250.
One thing I am certain of is that Pat Murphy will figure it out
