  1. I got to thinking this morning. Where do you slot Chourio in when he returns? Frelick RF Collins LF Contreras C Yelich DH Chourio CF Vaughn 1B Turang 2B Durbin/Siegler 3B Ortiz SS What a good problem to have!
  2. At current pace, roll it back..,... 2026 C- Contreras 1B- Vaughn 2B- Turang 3B- Durbin SS- Ortiz OF- Chourio, Frelick, Collins DH- Yelich Bench: Perkins, FA Catcher, FA SS/Infielder SP- Peralta, Misorowski, Priester, Henderson, Gasser/Rodriguez,Meyers Pen: Megill, Uribe, Koenig, Payamps, Yoho/Crow/Yeager/Zastryzny/Mears, Ashby, Hall Hoskins, Jansen, Woodruff and Quintana won't be affordable. Barring no major injuries, the #5 starter and a pen piece will be the key.
  3. D You bite the bullet with Ortiz"s bat and awesome defense. The bench is still weak. Willie Castro, Ahmed Rosario or IKF would have been great. Mullins, Finnegan or Correa would have showed we are going for it. Shelby Miller is a head scratcher. I hope he's healthy. Vaughn is what makes this a D. I hope he keeps on raking. Is Jansen that much better than Haase? Frelick RF Collins LF Contreras C Yelich DH Vaughn 1B Durbin 3B Turang 2B Perkins CF Ortiz SS Correa, Castro or Mullins would have really extended the line up.

  5. 2026 Rotation Peralta- Still the ace and cheap Mis- Will have up and downs. Priester- Innings eater. Ashby- His stuff is ace quality. Henderson- Will have ups and downs with Hall (better pen piece?), Gasser (hope he comes back strong), Crow (prospect on the rise) and Meyers (shetchy 2026 results) waiting. If Quintana or Cortez can get a 1B bat (Bauer's upgrade) or a high leverage relief pitcher at the 2025 deadline, you trade them.
  6. More like Peralta and Durbin for Jordan Lawler, Pavin Smith and Yilber Diaz.
  7. Milwaukee won't trade Peralta unless it impacts the 2026 roster...... Megill gets traded at the deadline with Uribe taking over A 3B/SS and a high leverage reliever needs to be part of any trade. SP: Peralta, Henderson, Priester, Hall, Misorowski * Patrick, C. Rodriguez, Meyers, Wichrowski all could factor in RP: Ashby, Koenig, Mears, Peguero, Yoho, Mears, Uribe * Crow, Zastryzny, McGee, Holub, Hudson, Payamps, Yeager Mears, Peguero and Yoho are all taxi squad.... C- Contreras OK with this 1B- Martinez Sketchy but OK 2B- Turang OK. A move to SS with a healthy arm? Durbin to 2B? SS- Ortiz Let's see how the rest of the season goes. 3B- Free Agent? Black hole. Rooting for Durbin. Pratt, Wilkens, Adams and Boeve seem more like 2027. OF- Yelich, Frelick, Mitchell, Chourio OK with this. Bench: Quero (C- Contreras DH's more), Durbin (Utility IF), Black (OF/1B), Free Agent SS OK with this if a SS is signed via free agency * Ziegler, Boeve, Wilkens, Pratt, and Adams could provide competition.
  8. Something like Made, Turang, Henderson, Payne, Burke and Misorowski and that might not do it. He is a top five in baseball
  9. Jacob MisiorowskiCooper PrattJesus MadeCaleb DurbinLogan HendersonCraig YohoJeferson QueroLuis PenaBraylon PayneEric BitontiMike BoeveTyler BlackK.C. HuntErnesto MartinezLuis LaraBrett WichrowskiBryce MeccageBrock WilkenLuke AdamsAlexander Cornielle
  10. Martinez is 2026. If he does not do well Boeve will be on his way along with Pratt in 2027. I am speculating...... C- Contreras 1B- Martinez 2B- Turang 3B- Pratt SS- Ortiz LF- Chourio CF- Mitchell RF- Frelick DH- Yelich
  11. The Brewers will have money for a free agent. The rotation is dependent on good 2025 showings from lots of young guys. 1. Peralta- Cheap for what you get. Ace by default. 2.) Woodruff- Ace #2 if he is healthy. 3.) Misorowski- Throw strikes, dominant stuff. Could be a #1 in time or a dominant pen arm 4.) Priester- Definitely a top five option. Solid 3-5. 5.) Gasser- Please get healthy, still young. Solid # 4-5. 6.) Henderson- Great stuff, still young. Solid # 4-5. 7.) Meyers- Was 2024 real? Possible # 4-5. 8.) Hunt- AAA with a future mid rotation #3-5 spot. 9.) Patrick- Seems reliable so far. Possible #5. 10.) Hall- Future pen arm. 11.) CRod- Still young but needs a good AAA showing. Possible #5. 12.) Wichrowski- AAA with a future. Possible #3-4. 13.) Ashby- Future pen arm if he gets get healthy.
  12. Frelick RF Chourio LF Yelich DH Contreras C Hoskins 1B Mitchell CF Ortiz SS Capra 3B Turang 2Bl
  13. LF Collins DH Quero CF Black 1B Martinez RF Hinklen 3B Siegler 2B Delgado SS Zamora
  14. LF- Chourio C- Contreras DH- Yelich 1B- Hoskins CF- Mitchell SS- Ortiz 2B- Turang 3B- Dunn/Durbin RF- Frelick Bench- C- Haase, SS/2B- Capra, 1B/DH/OF- Canha SP- 1.) Freddy, 2.) Cortes, 3.) Civale, 4.) Quintana, 5.) Meyers RP- E. Rodriguez, Hudson, Peguero, Ashby, Payamps SU- Koenig, Uribe CP- Megill AAA/MLB- D. Garcia, Henderson, Alexander, C. Rodriguez
  15. SP: Peralta, Cortez, Civale, Meyers, Henderson I'm ok with this but one injury leaves Milwaukee weak. I'm high on Henderson. RP: Patrick, Rodriguez, Ashby, Peguero, Uribe, Koenig, Hudson, Megill Patrick, Uribe and Rodriguez are question marks. LF: Chourio 2B: Turang DH: Yelich C: Contreras CF: Mitchell 1B: Hoskins RF: Frelick SS: Ortiz 3B: Durbin Bench: Haase, Montesario, Perkins, Collins Collins over Black and Dunn. This roster doesn't have enough to win NL Central. There is not a lot of thump at the end of the order. Possible Additions: Spencer Turnbull- Rotation Strength Minor League contract with opt out date. David Robertson- Lights out 7th, 8th and 9th in case one RP struggles. 1 year, 5 million. Luis Urias- Is he better than Montesario? Minor League contract with opt out date. Jose Iglesias- Not sure on cost. JD Martinez- He'd look good batting between Mitchell and Hoskins but the Yelich has to play the OF. Frelick would move to 3B? 1 year, 5 million if he breaks camp with the Brewers. It's a huge gamble and probably a pipe dream thinking he can play 120 games and hit .250. One thing I am certain of is that Pat Murphy will figure it out
  16. Baty for C Rod or Patrick even up?
  17. Carlos Rodriguez and Sal Frelick for Matt Vierling? * The Jungle Cars get a CF and a pitcher with some promise. * The trade opens up at bats for Black. * The black hole at 3B is filled. Chourio LF Perkins CF Yelich DH Contreras C Vierling 3B Mitchell RF Hoskins 1B Ortiz SS Turang 2B
  18. C Rod won't get Baty. Henderson plus might.
  19. It's Hoskins contract year and he is healthy. It might be his last big contract next off season. Let the man play .... Chourio LF Contreras C Yelich DH Hoskins 1B Mitchell CF Ortiz SS Frelick RF The Mess that is 3B Turang 2B
  20. C William Contreras ($7.60M) 1B: Rhys Hoskins ($18.00M) 2B: Brice Turang ($0.80M) 3B: Paul DeJung ($8.00) SS: Joey Ortiz ($0.80M) LF: Jackson Chourio ($4.25M) CF: Garrett Mitchell ($0.80M) RF: Sal Frelick ($0.80M) DH: Christian Yelich ($24.25M) 4th OF: Blake Perkins ($0.80M) Utility: Oliver Dunn ($0.80M) Utility: Tyler Black ($0.80M) Backup C: Eric Haase ($1.80M) NA: Add Dead Money Here ($0.00M) SP1: Freddy Peralta ($8.25M) SP2: Aaron Civale ($8.00M) SP3: Tobias Myers ($0.80M) SP4: Chad Patrick ($0.08M) SP5: DL Hall ($0.80M) RP: Bryan Hudson ($0.80M) RP: Trevor Megill ($2.00M) RP: Devin Williams ($10.0M) RP: Jared Koenig ($0.80M) RP: Devi Garcia ($0.80M) RP: Joel Payamps ($2.80M) RP: Craig Yoho ($0.80M) RP: Aaron Ashby ($3.45M) NA: Add Dead Money Here
  21. High A Wisconsin in 2025 at 18 AA Biloxi in 2026 at 19 AAA Nashville and MLB Milwaukee at 20 Jesus Made will follow the Chourio path.
  22. The Brewers won't have money for a free agent and Morel shouldn't cost a ton. He's been a utility player and could be lightening in a bottle. Plus, he is right handed power. I know, he strikes out a ton and didn't hit for average in 2024. He is still young. Turang- 2B Chourio- LF Yelich- DH Contreras- C Mitchell- CF Morel- 3B Hoskins- 1B Ortiz- SS Frelick- RF Bench: Black (DH, 1B, 3B) Montesario (2B, SS), Haase (C), Perkins (OF)
  23. Playoff Bullpen Game? How nasty would this be...... Ashby (1st and 2nd) Ross 3rd and 4th) Hudson (5th) Payamps (6th) Koenig (7th) Megill (8th) Williams (9th)
