  1. Based on the current 40 man roster....... SP: Burnes, Woodruff, Houser, Peralta, Lauer RP: Suter, Mejia, Topa, Cousins, Gustave, Ashby (7th), Williams, (8th), Hader (9th) C: Narvaez, Severino 1B: Tellez, Huira 2B: Wong 3B: Urias SS: Adames OF: Cain, Yelich, Refroe, Taylor Utility: Peterson, Brosseau RHP Wong 2B Yelich DH Adames SS Tellez 1B Renfroe RF Narvaez C Taylor LF Cain CF Urias 3B LHP Wong 2B Yelich LF Adames SS Renfroe DH Taylor RF Cain CF Narvaez C Huira 1B Urias 3B Needs: * Another bullpen flyer or two to create more competition. * Trade House for a RP or 1B/DH and move Ashby to the rotation (but that kills any depth). Thoughts: * Renfroe and Taylor need to hit .250 with 20 HR's each. * Is Urias wasted in the 9th spot? Could he hit .275 and hit 2nd? * Yelich needs to be Yelich. * 1B/DH has the potential to be a trainwreck. * The rotation is pretty sweet.
  2. P: Burnes, Woodruff, Peralta, Houser, Lauer RP: Hader (9), Williams (8), Cousins (7), Ashby, Gott, Topa, Suter, and one of Gustave, Person, Sanchez, Mejia C: Narvaez, Severing 1B: Tellez, Vogelbach 2B: Wong 3B: Urias SS: Adames Utility: Brosseau, Peterson OF: Yelich, Cain, Bradley, Taylor Starting pitching is good. The pen needs one more big arm. The infield needs a big bat preferably at 3B; Urias to utility. This offensive roster and bullpen (unproven pieces) is not good.
  3. Hader to the Dodgers for Graterol and Lux.
  4. Brewers:. We want to offer you Christian Yelich in a trade. Every MLB G.M.:. Are you throwing in $150 million? Awkward silence Brewers:. Hello...... Hello..... I think he hung up on me.
  5. Luis Urias for Ryan Mountcastle MLB Trade Simulator has an equal rating on both players.
  6. No Escobar, Adames or Taylor....... Tellez, Urias and Cain need to step up. It looks like Yelich if figuring things out. 2B Wong 3B Peterson LF Yelich RF Garcia Tellez 1B Urias SS Cain CF Pina C Woodruff P
  7. First, look at what Milwaukee has coming back: C- Narvaez, Pina 1B- Tellez 2B- Wong 3B- Urias SS- Adames OF- Yelich, Cain, Taylor, Bradley SP- Woodruff, Peralta, Burnes, Ashby, Houser, Lauer, Bettinger RP- Williams, Sanchez, Hader, Boxberger with left over SP's, Gustave, File, Strickland, Suter and Topa as possibilities. The Brewer's could actually trade SP depth. It would be nice to dump Cain or Bradley's salary but that will be tough. I don't see Garcia coming back. Dump a catcher and add Feliciano? Hopefully Escobar continues to preform well and loves Milwaukee.
  8. Just do it, Craig! 2B Wong SS Adames 1B Escobar RF Garcia LF Taylor CF Cain 3B Urias C Pina P Woodruff
  9. This was a lot tougher than I thought it would be! 1. Garrett Mitchell- MLB All Star Talent 2. Hedbert Perez- So much upside 3. Ethan Small- Needs to crank it up a notch 4. Joe Gray Jr- Impressive 2021 season 5. Brice Turang- Lack of power but everything else is there 6. Antoine Kelly- Tons of potential 7. Sal Frelick- On base machine hopefully 8. Jeferson Quero- I thought about #5 9. Aaron Ashby- The debut drops his status 10. Jake Cousins- Closer stuff if he can command a third pitch 11. Zavier Warren- No set position but that's OK if everything else plays well 12. Felix Valerio- Will rise fast or fall fast 13. Mario Feliciano- MLB back up? 14. Tyler Black- Fast riser (aka Joe Gray, Jr.) 15. Korry Howell- Utility player? 16. Freddy Zamora- Tough season, could be a fast riser in 2022 17. Eduardo Garcia- Doing well at A 18. Abner Uribe- Late inning stuff. 19. Alex Binelas- Possible 3B depth down the road 20. Jackson Chourio- Big bat tool 21. Darrien Miller- Toolsy player 22. Jheremy Vargas- Tearing it up in Arizona 23. Carlos Luna- Doing well in 2021 24. Tristen Lutz- Still lots of potential 25. a.) Miguel Sanchez, b.) Angel Perdomo, c.) Justin Topa d.) Alec Bettinger- Taxi squad
  10. Sorry Yeli, you platoon until you K less. You're not getting paid to draw walks. Wong 2B Urias 3B Adames SS Garcia RF Taylor CF Tellez 1B Cain CF Pina C Anderson P
  11. 1. Kris Bryant (RH but will cost Mitchell) 2. Dominic Smith (Taylor and Houser +) 3. Garret Cooper (Will cost Taylor, us) 4. Freddie Freeman (Turang, plus) 5. Jesus Aguilar (Regression candidate) 6. Anthony Rizzo (Left handed, the Brewer's need RH power. Hasn't been elite) 7. Christian Walker (If all else fails) 8. Cron (Doesn't excite me at all)
  12. With the amount of minor league catching in the system, and Narvaez coming back, Feliciano is a trade chip for a team like the Nationals who are thin on catching.
  13. I could be way off....... Scherzer- Lauer or Houser, Feliciano and a couple of lottery tickets. Hudson- Quero and Milner Hand- Feliciano and Cousins
  14. What I want to see: Wong 2B Yelich LF Adames SS Garcia RF Taylor CF Urias 3B Hiura 1B Pina C Anderson P
  15. I wonder what they'd want for Kris Bryant? I am not saying Milwaukee should pay it but he is exactly what Milwaukee needs for a third hitter and utility player (3B, 1B, OF). When Wong returns, and Bryant hitting 3rd, the batting order and bench would be incredibly deep.
  16. . Caleb Smith (L), D-Backs: Actually as a spot or split game starter, too. 2. Jose Ciserno ®, Tigers: Older player who should come relatively cheap. 3. Ian Kennedy ®, Rangers: Older player who should com relatively cheap. 4. John Sobrz ®, Rangers: Texas should be dumping players for prospects and Sobrz has great numbers. 5. Hansel Robles ®: Older player who should come cheap. 6-7. Scott Barlow ® and Jake Brentz (L), Royals: Cost controlled, Kansas City may be asking for quite a bit. 8-9. Paul Fry ® and Tanner Scott (L), Orioles: See Barlow and Brentz. 10. Richard Rodriguez ®, Pirates: I see a bidding war at the player deadline.
  17. The Brewers could use another high leverage bullpen arm. Below are some available arms that could help down the stretch. 1. 10. Richard Rodrigues ®, Pirates: I see a bidding war at the player deadline.
  18. Play your best line up, right? Wong 2B Urias 3B Yelich LF Garcia RF Narvaez C Adames SS Taylor CF Hiura 1B Peralta P
  19. The Brewers have a better bullpen and bench. Position wise, what team has a better lineup? In this series the rotations are a wash. C- Barnhart vs. Narvaez= Narvaez 1B- Stephenson vs. Vogelbach= Even 2B- India vs. Urias= Urias 3B- Suarez vs. Shaw= Suarez SS- Farmer vs. Adames= Adames LF- Winkler vs. Yelich= Even CF- Naquin/Heineman vs. Taylor/JBB= Naquin/Heineman RF- Castellanos vs. Garcia= Castellanos
  20. What would it take to bring Garret Cooper back to Milwaukee? Mario Feliciano and Tyrone Taylor? Too much? Too little? Do the Marlins just hang up when Milwaukee calls?
  21. JBJ and Zach Brown/Patrick Weigel for Donaldson and Hansel Robles. Donaldson and JBJ are a wash but the Brewer's need something for the extra years of Donaldson. Robles is better than Weigel.
  22. Hoping to see: Game #1 Wong 2B Adames SS Yelich LF Garcia RF Navarez C Huira 1B Urias 3B Robertson 3B Pitcher Game #2 Wong 2B Adames SS Cain CF Garcia RF Huira 2B Pina C Shaw 3B JBJ LF Pitcher
