  2. Clancy I hear what you're saying but if they hold on here, they will have used the pen in three wins. You have to use the pen for wins when wins are there for the taking. Worry about tomorrow tomorrow. Plus they really aren't in that bad of shape. Turnbow/Cordero can pitch two days in a row if need be, and one should be fully rested. Also Bush has the capability to go the distance, so hopefully Good Dave Bush shows up tomorrow. Edit: I see Wise is in, so both Turnbow and Cordero are good to go tomorrow. No issues.
  3. Man the Cards are using Izzy just because he hasn't gotten work.
  4. The double streak stays alive! Hilarious! Wow, and that was only the Brewers' fourth hit of the day.
  5. Dew, rain and fog? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  6. Hart, Mench and Gross are all much better hitters than Gwynn. I don't see how anyone could argue otherwise.
  7. Sounds like it's a painful bruise but nothing worse, according to Powell.
  8. Just got home, and I thought I'd stop in to say BREAK UP THE BREWERS!
  9. I like it. I'll say a soft liner to left-center.
  10. Wow, how incredibly sad. It was surreal reading through the memorial thread as posters were reacting to the news.
  11. Brett, that was worded perfectly. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. It really was. It was almost to the point where they were overdoing it with the Brewers love. I mean, we're one month into the season. I will comment on their coverage of Josh Hancock's death. I really feel like they overdid it, almost to the point where I'd be offended if I knew Hancock. Saying things like "You almost wonder why more Cardinals didn't pull themselves from the lineup, or how Jeff Suppan could make his start tonight" and "Look where Dove sits (by Hancock's jersey) to reflect on his inning." Also Sutcliffe was talking about the Cardinals' struggles and said, "Yeah, but they've had so much to deal with this season." Hancock died two days ago! So they were 10-12 without him, and 0-2 with him.
  13. Holy crap... The Brewers won a series in Minute Maid Park!
  14. No kidding. The only thing that would have been more fitting is a bloop out to second.
  15. Big insurance run on third with their boppers coming up.
  16. Bad feeling about this for some reason...
