  1. Anyone think what Daron and Bill are describing is the Eye of the Tiger?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  2. Boy Lehr has really picked the Brewers up too tonight.
  3. Ok... Hall's gonna hit into a triple play.
  4. Boy... I guess we were wrong on the Cirillo start. Rough game tonight for Jeff.
  5. This is probably the last time the fans can do their O chant. Edit: Strikeout...
  6. Not that I'm a Star Wars dork, but how could Darren think that was Darth Vader?
  7. What a matrix-like slide at third by Clark!
  8. Wow, Glover is really cruising!
  9. You could ask the same thing about Gary Glover and the Reds.
  10. Well Yost's move to not use Turnbow looks like it paid off, but it was still the wrong move.
  11. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  12. And strike three is ignored by the ump.
  13. Treego, I don't mean to attack you, but Brian is correct in his assumption. Either you like Bill Hall a lot (which is great), or you don't like Hardy (which is fine too). But it is apparent that you are trying to paint a bad picture of Hardy AND Yost to manipulate facts into making your guy look better, and making Hardy look worse than he is. On the JS boards all season you ripped Hardy's offense and you ripped Yost for playing him. Now that he's hitting, you refuse to give Yost credit for sticking with him through his offensive struggles, and you don't even give Hardy credit for hitting. You go right to defense and range factor. There's nothing wrong with giving credit where credit is due sometimes. There is something wrong, though, with trying to create a stir over a problem that probably doesn't exist. In a different note, Hall has settled in pretty well at third. Why make the stink about it now? Hall is playing pretty much every day, and he has definitely played more than Hardy this season.
  14. It's a tall task, but I think they need to take 2/3 from the Cards if they want a realistic shot at .500. Time for Cappy to get it done tonight; bounce back from your shaky outting last time!
  15. I thought the same thing, that Jenkins catches that if his back isn't injured. Someone mentioned that the batting order the next inning would have been Helms, Clark, Turnbow. So Turnbow only would have gone one inning anyways. I don't disagree with putting Eveland in to start the 9th, but I may have been more inclined to bring in Lehr or Kane Davis against Bagwell.
  16. It has been working doesn't mean, "It worked yesterday and by has been working all I was talking about is yesterday." By "has been working" I mean over their last handful of games. Also, just to prove that I'm not singling out Branyan, Cirillo hasn't played in forever either. But I'm not suggesting starting him tonight.
  17. Sorry Ralph Wiggum, but I agree with no Branyan. Yost has stuck with what's been hot all season. This lineup has been working. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
  18. So it's official? ESPN blacked out tonight?
  19. Hey everyone. Sorry I'm late! Here's to .500! Mediocrity never felt so good.
  20. Sounds like someone's in the mood to rip on the Brewers. Why? It was a great game, be positive! Also, I've seen Magruder ripped on here quite a bit.
  21. I don't know about Santos, but why would Wise be up in the 7th? Wouldn't he be used in the 8th?
