  1. Bsglorydays, my point with the NL East teams is that they will be beating up on each other so it will be difficult for those teams to gain ground. They will spin their wheels a bit, and like I said at least two will fade. I think the Wild Card comes down to Houston and one NL East team (probably Marlins or Mets), and if we keep playing +.500 like we have so far since the break, us too. We have 10 games against Houston, so we couldn't ask for more of an opportunity. Houston's shown a bit of their anemic offense the last few games that plagued them early this year. Very unlikely, yes, but stranger things have happened. I agree though, that it's fun just to be debating this.
  2. I know this is going off the game-thread topic a little, but And That I really don't buy the argument that the number of teams ahead of the Brewers matter. They're back 4 1/2 games, and that's all that matters. If the Brewers go on something like a 5-game winning streak, which is not that unlikely, they'll be passing a few teams and find themselves right in it. All they have to do is win; 2 NL East teams will fall back for sure.
  3. Woohoo!! Nice job to everyone who hung in here the whole game!
  4. Please throw strikes T-Bow. Two more outs...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif
  5. Wow... all I can say is wow.
  6. I think Hendrickson was just suspended for hitting a batter in AAA.
  7. Lehr really seems terrible. I wonder how much longer he lasts.
  8. So who comes in now? Eveland, DLR?
  9. Cubs only down two... crap.
  10. I was 99% sure I had the wrong verb tense there. I only took two years of introductory German, and I haven't had it in years. Thanks for the correction.
  11. Come on JJ, make em pay this time. The mets are helping 3T0 maintaint his status today.
  12. Geof Jenkins, du bist HEISE!
  13. Man the Brewers can't do anything with Heilman this series.
  14. No home runs yet today for the Crew. Time for Rickie to change that? Edit: Come on Rickie, Karen from Sheboygan wants $
  15. Cairo caught napping!! WOW
  16. I don't understand this thinking. Why do you feel so sorry for him? Did Yost walk 7 batters? Davis put himself in the situation, and he's a big boy. He can handle himself.
  17. Ok bucks... nothing bothers me as much as putting words in someone's mouth to bolster your argument. Ralph never said anything close to that, nor did he imply it. Give it a rest, and personally I wouldn't mind at all if your poo-poo attitude left for a while. RUSSELL!!!
  18. Come on Russell... tie it right back up!
  19. I can see it now. The bullpen's overworked, so when they get rocked over the next few days you'll say, "Ned! That's what you get for overusing your bullpen so much!!!"
  20. Honestly people. It's not like they're coming off an off day with a fresh bullpen. They emptied the pen two nights ago! They don't have an off day any time soon. Davis had two outs. Yost took him out as soon as he allowed a run. If he got out of that inning it would have been fine.
  21. It's not that easy as just "Change the pitcher." They have to think about the next games. The bullpen is already overworked. He hasn't allowed any runs yet this inning somehow, so let him try to work out.
  22. NOW you can get him out. Ugh.
  23. Any way he gets out of this?
