    Well, the org either feels this team is good enough as is to make a deep playoff run, knows there are too many holes to reasonably fill in order to make a deep playoff run, or just doesn't care either way.

    I believe both Ross and Hall can be real weapons in short stints. If they believe Huddy and Megill (maybe even Paredes) can come back strong, then maybe, just maybe, they are modeling that Royals run. But they need to add a couple of bats then.
