  1. Garza is pitching well. Don't understand why he's not a one or two starter. Must be his head.
  2. Don't have any problem with Phillip and Brinson fighting for playing time. Go Brewers.
  3. How many times has Brinson, Thames, Arcia, Pina, Shaw or Santana faced a quality pitching staff? Not many. Give them a break.
  4. Glad to see Wang back, performance does matter for pitchers, at least (not for outfielders I guess).
  5. Don't understand bringing up Nieuwenhuis over Wren, Phillips or Broxton. What has he shown over the last 18 months????
  6. Still think the Brewers will end the season above .500, which is higher than 80% of posters to this forum thought.
  7. Stearns picked up a reliever for first baseman. Reliever gave up homerun on first pitch, first baseman is going nowhere with NYY. This is baseball. A moving mosaic of 25 players over spring, summer and fall. Love the Brewers and their youth.
  8. Over or under 10 strike outs for Brewer tonight. I'm under.
  9. Glad to see Cubs bullpen imploding today. Maybe their pitching isn't better than Brewers.
  10. Think Cubs are problem. Shaw over Brandt, Arcia over Russell, Sogard over Baez (Baez over Villar), Rizzo by a razor over Thames and Aguilar. Outfield is a wash as Braun and Broxton are negative, while Hayward and Scwarber are negative. Comes down to pitching and Cubs better now.
  11. Broxton, Thames and Villar look lost. Replacements for Thames and Villar are easy. Why not replace Broxton with Phillips?
  12. You look at the OPB for the Brewers and you shake your head at the line up. Seems like Counsel sticks with a line up way to long.
  13. If Brewers make the playoffs this year I'll copy all negative comments and post them.
  14. I miss Scouter.
  15. Hope Sogart gets back quick. Don't know what's wrong with Villar, but time is running out.
  16. Every team has pitchers throwing 90+. At bat hitting a ball thrown that fast goes further.
  17. Never like trading every day player for pitcher, but Webb is obviously a lefty out the BP which the Brewers lack (Hader is a starter). Hope he works out.
  18. Alway picture a player in game 7 WS bottom of 9th, team down one, one out: who do you want up? Thames or Aguilar. I want Thames.
  19. Woodruff, not sure on relievers. Maybe a trade for some closer on loser team.
  20. Nats have a terrible BP. They're going nowhere in the playoffs if they don't correct that. Given their managers history, the Nats won't make it thru the first round.
  21. Did Broxton get 3 walks like the MLB box score says???
