  1. We're seeing what separates Kawhi/Durant/LeBron from Giannis at THIS point in his career. Kawhi isn't forcing things and forcing bad turnovers. 8 minutes to go. We can't be playing from behind in the final couple minutes or we're in trouble. Agree and this is also why it's a problem in this type of game, this late, when your best player isn't a great shooter. He's just forcing things and another BAD turnover there.

  3. And when they do, he is way short again on the first FT.
  4. It'd be great if they bailed out Giannis like that on occasion.
  5. That makes me nervous with the FT shooting. I'm hoping we can expand this lead a bit in the 4th. Play from in front or the Raptors have a shot to steal this game...which would likely mean the series. We NEED Middleton to start getting his shot to drop here. Someone has to step up and be the go-to guy with the ball in his hand.
  6. Kawhi is so consistent. Giannis just looks a little tight. He's playing hard, but he's tight on those shots. I'm not a BB coach, but it looks like he's got very little follow through and in BB terms is short arming them a bit. He's made very few when he tries fading away from 6-10 feet away.
  7. THAT'S some nice passing and good basketball! And good foul by Giannis. His first(or second) of the game. So he can afford it.
  8. He's not scoring, but he's playing well defensively, he's made some great passes and he's rebounding. We need him to hit shots for sure though. Yeah true, he'd be on his way to a triple double today if he could just hit a shot. He's just waiting until we need them the most

  10. Small ball now like CHL wanted. Hopefully this gives us a shot in the arm.
  11. We need Hill to calm us down here.
  12. Now VanVleet looks like he's a superstar...
  13. Keep it going, take control now in the 3rd!
  14. It seems like Kawhi is on him and he's not open...so he's been making smart plays by in large. Though maybe he's been too passive. He's maybe the one guy who can hit contested shots with his length. Not over Kawhi, but in general.
  15. Bled knocking down a few shots is just huge. Especially if it makes them start playing him tight and he can go past them and get to the paint.
  16. Yep. Loved the trade and still think it made all the sense in the world, but man has he killed us. I think he'd be fine if he just took the shots he normally takes, but he'snot a "step back fadeaway 3" type shooter. This is how guys get screwed up, they start playing stupid. Of course when you miss as many as he does, that probably starts creepin' into his mind when he does get those open shots. But he's passed up a couple open ones and taken a couple highly contested shots. It's just baffling. And yes, it was a great trade. I can't think of a bad move the Bucks have made in the past 18 months save for maybe that very minor move of keeping Frazier and letting Wood go, but that's hardly manifesting itself in this series. He'd be behind Wilson in the rotation anyway.
  17. What on Earth has Giannis done that suggest that? Webber made this comment and it made zero sense to me. He's attacking and they're playing him extremely physical.
  18. That's how it went for both teams in their blowouts. Mirotic has flown a bit under the radar, but last year he was great in the playoffs. This series he's been atrocious. He's taking Steph type shots.
  19. We're watching totally different games... One post later I said he picked it up. Before that I was correct. Agree to disagree. I don't think it changes that much in one play.
  20. I don't know, but it's great to see Nelson putting together another dominant outing. 4 IP 50 pitches, 0H, and I think it was 1 BB and 5 K's?
  21. I'd just play it by ear. He's so good defensively and he's been better tonight. He got blasted on that errant pass/shot/whatever it was on the baseline and then they come back and call a ticky-tac foul on us. Both he and Giannis are missing shots at the hoop that they normally make. It's like they're too worried about Toronto's big men when they're both outstanding around the rim.

  23. He hasn't been as good, he's been forcing some things, but I think he'd look a lot better if Mirotic wasn't taking such ridiculous shots. My only issue with him has been driving a little out of control. I would say that you can still see what Giannis needs to improve upon, but at least he's not playing up an injury so he has a build in excuse.
