  1. I’m having flashbacks of the last series at AFF against the Reds. Someone please make it stop!
  2. I was just going to post the same thing. It's not going to be another one of these series where the Reds will get every call, is it? We can only hope not.
  3. Burnes had two pitches in that at bat to Votto that were much closer than what Tellez had to endure.
  4. This umpire is inconsistent at best. I sure hope the umpiring doesn’t end up like the last Reds series at home. It was brutal if you remember.
  5. If Escobar has to miss some time on the IL do they use Jace as a back up 3B and maybe call up Hiura?
  6. How many times did Yelich K looking with RISP? Twice in two days. He just looks lost at the plate.
  7. I see your point but I don’t think the cavalry is coming to save the day anytime soon. Braun is hurt which had to be expected, Cain opts out, somewhat of a surprise. I hope they give Urias a chance here soon. I think his talent will help. Maybe things will turn around soon. Need Yelich to hit like Yelich more than ever with this team’s makeup. Just doesn’t seem like they have the juice that they have had and I know it’s early. Just an observation.
  8. I know it’s early but this team just is missing something. Is it realistic to think the Brewers can compete with the likes of Smoak, Morrison, Healy, Sogard, Holt, Gyrko etc. making up a large portion of their daily lineup? It sure seems they are missing Moose, Grandal, heck even Thames is missed in my opinion.
  9. I’m actually not opposed to this either since I don’t think we will take advantage of our time with Yelich. I don’t see it happening though. I am 100% on board with this. I'm ready to blow it up. I cant stand to watch the Brewers mess up like they did in 2011. If they had traded Bruan and Fielder, then 2013-2016 would have been thrival years. Instead they failed to sell high and we suffered through years of mediocrity. Sell Yelich, Hader, Grandal, and Moose and I can almost guarantee we have a top 3 system. Almost no question the team is ready to compete in 2021. Seriously?
  10. What part of the draft is Washburn being projected to go?
  11. Inexcusable. He’s dogged it down the line a couple of times already this season. No room for that. Nip it in the bud.
  12. Braun throwing to the wrong base, Arcia flailing away at the plate, Moose struggling at second base, Claudio being asked to pitch to several righties in a row, yep sounds like a recipe for blowing a three run lead. The crew has had many poor at bats since the first couple of innings. Hopefully they can get back on track and pull it out.
  13. Now that’s the Soria we are looking for. Now let’s get some insurance.
  14. Guerra is just in a different role than most are used to. But CC needs to have a quicker hook when a guy obviously isn’t sharp. Hader was not himself and it shouldn’t have taken three rockets to left center and a walk to make the switch.
  15. As soon as you notice he can’t locate and his velocity is down 3-4 mph you need to pull him. With all the righties up I cannot understand how Knebel or Soria wasn’t up, especially after the first homer. If you want to manage like it’s game 7 of the WS then manage like it’s game 7 of the WS.
  16. I think that Aguilar could kid possibly land a top 50 guy. Maybe, maybe not. But to simply dismiss it is not being realistic. Aguilar has real value. Seriously how many 1B are out performing him this year? Maybe three or four. I think Stearns could use Aguilar as a piece for a Thor or Degrom trade. He along with Burnes and Hiura could be close to getting it done. Maybe they’d want more, possibly Hader or Peralta.. not sure I’d do that. But I might.
  17. Has anyone else noticed a lack of sliders from Soria. That pitch was supposed to be his new best pitch. Yet he rarely has thrown since coming to the team. I was at todays game and with a 0-2 count to Renfroe I expected at least a couple sliders or off speed pitches to get the K but instead another fastball down the middle. Has anyone else noticed that lack of sliders or am I losing my mind?
