    The Mariners haven't even made it to the World Series yet. Yeah, other than a nice run in the 90s with Johnson, Griffey and A-Rod, they've been a pretty pathetic franchise in their 44 year history. I believe they have the longest active streak of non playoff seasons, which is why I couldn't figure out why Stearns was so in love with Smoak, Narvaez and later, Vogelbach, although he did have a good year with us but hardly a cornerstone piece for a baseball team.

    Oh man. Tannehill is the safest pick I think, but he's generally a high floor, low ceiling guy. I'd probably go Brees with the idea that the offense will be much more dynamic after Mike Thomas comes back next week. Well Tannehill worked great for this week at least. Hope he can keep it up. Don't I know it. I benched him in favor of Rodgers. It's decisions like these is why I'm pulling up the rear in my league.

    Not that just that, but we dropped a common game with the Bears. I'm not afraid of them. We'll probably sweep them.

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if the Packers and Bucs place in the same position in our respective divisions, which there is a very good chance of happening as I see both teams finishing in first place, we will be back in Tampa in 2021.

    I went with John Brown based on my belief that this game will be a shootout and the Cowboys will run the offense through Zeke tonight. I also got Hill going for me too. We'll see what happens.

    We haven't lost much under MLF, but when we do, we really get crushed.

    So every expansion team since 1993 has at least made it to the World Series once, with Arizona winning one and the Marlins winning two. Meanwhile after 38 years there doesn't seem to be a World Series in sight for us. Oh well, go Dodgers.

    Yeah, I had Cooper in to start the weekend but I'm pretty high on Brown too. Cooper didn't do much for me last week against the Giants.

    Agree but I called a mulligan in San Diego last year and then it happened twice more in SF As I said before, the Niners were just a better team than us. I can accept that. This game is a result of poor execution, self inflicted wounds and being outcoached. I can't accept that.

    OK, I'm just gonna go ahead and chalk this up as an L, but I'm also not going to overreact to this embarrassment. I don't expect this team to play this poorly again the rest of the season. Just a bad day at the office. It happens. We have two games coming up that we should win relatively easily. We're still one of the best teams in football. Just burn the tape and we're on to Houston.
