I didn't think it was all that great. Cain can make a play like that in his sleep. I also think Yount's was overrated. He didn't even have to dive to catch that one, he just wanted to make it more dramatic. He has said as much. Burnes snagging the comebacker was more impressive to me.

Bart Winkler is kinda the king of the hot take sports talk shock jock idiots. This reaction isn't surprising. He is the definition of a casual baseball fan. Except this isn't a hot take. Combined no hitters are just not any fun, especially when your starter Ks 14, allows one walk, and you have one of the best closers in baseball coming in fresh. There was no doubt Hader wouldn't give up a hit.

Yes the third time and Plesac was the starting pitcher for the Indians for all 3. So you could say he gets no hit support from his offense.

Yes, I understand CC pulling him even though if he was going to he should've done it last inning, but if Hader finishes this off without giving up a hit I don't consider this a real no hitter.

The walk to Straw is what ultimately did Burnes in. If he gets him out, Burnes is in for the ninth for the perfect game.

For once let's go for history. It's been 12,568 days. Burnes will be fine. Counsell knows what he's doing.

Knew I could count on jomboy. Love the comments "If the Orioles are cheating, they need to work on their processes" What I loved is the Orioles manager apologizing for his behavior, as if he doesn't swear like a drunken sailor every game. He was just sorry he got caught on a live mic.
