And alot of them done with four pitchers, one with six. I wonder if anyone here would wet themselves just as much over those. To anyone here I offended by not being excited about a multi pitcher kissing your sister no hitter, I'm sorry. Sorry we offended you for being excited by a no hitter. Absolutely no one was offended by your position. The responses were people being baffled and feeling sorry for you for not being able to enjoy a no hitter because it didn't fit your narrow definition of a no hitter. Feel how you want to feel about it. There are others that agree with you and many that don't. So what? Yeah, nothing says "Nobody was offended" like continuing to sarcastically harp on the issue 24 hours after the fact and will continue for years to come.

To compound the problem of MLF holding out the first stringers in the preseason, he wasn't even trying to win those games with the players he was using. This result really shouldn't be surprising looking back on hindsight.

Agree with you on the first two points. As far as #3, instead of giving the Lombardi speech, MLF should look in the mirror for why this abomination happened.

There really is no excuse for this performance. Shame on MLF not taking the preseason seriously as far as getting the offense reps to gel. I expect this kind of defense every week.

I hope that doesn't happen. Fortunately that would require the Pirates sweeping the Reds. IDC how bad the Reds have been lately, you should be able to win one of those games.
