Good to get the scrub relievers except Cousins in this unwinnable game and then drop the hammer on them in Game 2.

They need to get him going and giving him more at bats seems to be their strategy. I'm okay with this, despite his struggles. They've been trying to get him going for a year and a half. At some point you have to do what's best for the team.

Even though the Reds have a much easier schedule the rest of the way, we have Pittsburgh and the Reds have the Phillies this weekend. Philly is playing really good ball right now, so if by the end of the weekend we can get the lead up to 10 games, the schedule shouldn't matter.
