  1. I remember a few 97s from Hader last summer. I don't know if he hit 98 though. There's a hundo right there.
  2. Alright, can anyone beat this Opening Day hot take? Going once....going twice... I thought this one was better: "So if Narvaez can't hit anymore, and he makes such awkward positioning block ling balls in the dirt, why is he still here?" What's wrong with that take?
  3. Roy Williams is retiring after 33 years. Last game coached against Wisconsin. Thank you for three championships and take care.
  4. But do you live in Wisconsin? If so, you'll be blacked out like the rest of us. Ah, that's right. It only applies to the away games. I'll have to figure something else out. I vowed never to go back to Spectrum again and I'm keeping my word on that. Listening to Uecker isn't a bad option either.
  5. Interesting that Opening Day coincides with my six month auto insurance payment to AmFam. Unfortunately I just found out about an hour ago that Hulu doesn't have FSWisconsin anymore so I had to subscribe to MLBTV to watch the Brewers this year.
  6. Honestly, making the finals with an all-freshman lineup today, when the top players rarely spend more than a year in college, would be absurdly impressive. The Duke team that beat Wisconsin is probably the most freshman-led team to ever win it all and they only started three and had an all-conference senior. Most of the teams that have started four of five freshmen underachieved based on the hype. Now go back to that era, when the best players stayed in school longer ... That Duke team they lost to was probably the pinnacle of that era of Duke teams. Not winning it as sophomores might have been disappointing, but that first year was legitimately revolutionary. And that was great too. I laughed like a loon when Webber got the T for calling timeout. Great moment for me too. Michigan acted like they would've won the game if it wasn't for the time out. UNC was ahead at the time. All that time out did was put the final nail in their coffin.
  7. I think all those 17th games should be played in London.
  8. Yea, and I have no problem running it back if it comes to that. One of those years where there's plenty of players that could improve over last year. But, much like the angst about the Brewers lack of moves every December, there's still montgs to make moves, and the draft of course. To quote Joe Paterno, "If you're not getting better, you're getting worse."
  9. Good thing the offseason isn't over. And I'd expect Dillon/Williams to wash in 2021. Yes, we certainly could get better with a good draft. I'm not going to hold my breath on that though.
  10. Looks like we're going to a 17 game schedule. AFC teams have the home games, meaning we play in KC in 2021.
  11. So basically we still have the same team except Linsley and Williams are gone. Looks to me like we've gotten worse in the last two months.
  12. Alabama can’t hit a free throw to save their life. That's how half of games are decided but yeah, that was pathetic even for high school games.
  13. This Alabama-UCLA game is bananas.
  14. Looks like Baylor and Gonzaga are on a collision course to the National Championship game like I predicted.
  15. Can we make a petition to put Loyola-Chicago in the Big Ten and kick out Rutgers?
  16. 24 accusers have now come forward. How high a number until you start to believe this is either a witch hunt or Watson is a complete psychopath?
  17. My final 4 is still alive too but it will be down to three after tonight when Michigan loses because the Big Ten is overrated.
  18. Not sure how Wisconsin losing to a one seed furthers that argument.... That was more directed at Illinois and ohio State.. And Purdue. And coming soon, Michigan and Iowa.
