    I was just thinking… Brewers need to capitalize on this soon because if the Cubs just pick up a few decent bullpen arms (which you would think they can with their payroll), our little fun run of dominance in the Central could come crashing down real quick. Whatever let’s just enjoy this while we have it.

    I wouldn’t even call BA an announcer at this point. He calls, what, 40 games a year now? We need to find a dedicated person. Yes BA is great and all that but the guy is barely around and it’s getting kind of annoying.

    If there were ever a point to be made for a ghost runner, this is it. Nobody likes these games other than old school/die hard fans and that contingent left the building 10 years ago. Sheesh.

    Good to know. I wonder where he will end up when 97.3 shuts down and “shifts to a music station”. Back to 1250 perhaps?

    Is this a newer/permanent development? Haven’t had a chance to listen in a few weeks and I know 97.3 is being phased out.

    I think the only thing that was disappointing to me last night was the fact that Tim Allen and the postgame show wasn’t on. Lit up my victory cigar on the patio and tuned into 97.3 only to hear some sorry-assed post presser from Luke Fickel. Like seriously?!

    Yeah I am starting to get the feeling this is just going to be another early exit for this team. August was a blast, though (seriously). Probably the most fun I’ve had since 2018… when you look at how this team started.

    Honestly even if we lose this game, still feeling great. We’ve held them to 4 and have had a chance so many times. We’re the better team. Just couldn’t overcome that bad start.
