  1. First thing that popped in my mind!
  2. For sure... even so I'd be willing to pay like $50... it was that much fun. Takes the sting out of not being able to afford $2500 for a seat. $2-300 is borderline absurd.
  3. Shuttles are definitely the way to go. I live in Tosa on the very border of MKE/Story Hill, so Brewers shuttles have become my way of life. Nearly everything has a shuttle on Bluemound. I'm partial to Dugout 54, as they run 3 or 4 shuttles so the wait isn't too bad, and there's a sort of gentlemen's agreement to just grab a beverage or two, and give the driver a few bucks. Some places require purchases to get an actual ticket etc. I usually get a beer and a roadie for the ride. If you don't mind walking a few blocks, Wisconsin and Wells west of Hawley are only a few blocks away from them all. Heck, even some (such as Magoo's) had shuttles for the watch party! My guess is all of them will for the next two.
  4. I was a little skeptical of what it would be like for NLCS game 4, but it was an absolute blast. It was like being at a game (aside from watching on the scoreboard vs the field). The people and workers were ecstatic to be there and it was just an overall great vibe. Happy to have gotten tickets to WS game 4 watch party.
  5. Did he even touch mid-90 this year? Either way if he’s in the low 90s I’d definitely start him over those choices.
  6. I was a shade over 3 when they went in '82 so I don't really remember it. I remember those Brewers pennant placemats being on my dresser as a kid not really knowing what they meant. I was at the watch party last night, and it was just electric. I basically said "thank you for doing this" to every worker that was there that served me a beer or a hot dog, because they really didn't need to be there doing that. I feel like I've let all of my energy out just getting to the WS and I hope that's not where the team is. We should try and win it all. Also, Uecker... this one's for you, man! That guy was basically the lasting memory of my late grandfather. They had the same exact voice, sense of humor, cadence etc. I was so sad when he passed, but I hope he's smiling down (both of them, actually haha). That's my livestream of thoughts. Not sure if it answers any of the questions lol.
  7. Ted Perry is a national treasure and we are so lucky to have him. Best newscaster in Milwaukee.
  8. Also got an email this morning with a code. Game 1 SRO for $800! What a deal.
  9. In years past, I've typically parked my butt at Dugout54 refreshing Stubhub and purchasing about 30 minutes before first pitch and hopping on the next shuttle. Last year I went to Dodgers game 2 section 129 for about $110. No such luck this year. I kept refreshing well into first pitch for game 1 and nothing ever dropped below $250. Kept refreshing yesterday until about an hour before the game and the cheapest was $160 for SRO. On a whim, I went to the Brewers website and they had SROs for 123 after fees. Took my 8 year old. A nice couple by third base/outfield that had a great view let him crash into their spot (pretty easy for a tiny kid) and he had a blast. I am glad I didn't take my 5 year old, he would have been miserable. Looking doubtful we'll be able to afford WS (!?!?) tickets. However the jumbotron experience at Leff's for game 1 was pretty solid!
  10. Cubs fans would welcome you with open arms. Do it the Counsell way then.
  11. Turang playing himself into a Brewers max offer. And I’m ok with that.
  12. Gasser is dealing. Perhaps we could back him up with some ******* runs.
  13. Manny Machado is Fat Kyle Kuzma and I hate them both equally.
  14. That’s my take. They did everything right and we still had every chance to win while coming up short.
  15. My bad. Meant to quote somebody else. Honestly quoting on this forum (particularly on a phone) is a bit… confusing compared to all of the other forums I frequent.
  16. Fine. But don’t tell me he is “ok” at third in the ******* playoffs lol.
  17. Come on with the third base ********. We are *not* throwing him at third in the playoffs. Jesus ******* *****.
  18. Pretty sure it’s because he is awful at third and mediocre at first.
  19. Yep, you’ll never convince the Yeli haters. It’s absolutely insane.
