  1. Driving past the cederburg exit on my way to port washington at 2:27PM was quite the adventure.
  2. Please dont discuss the season finalie in here. I DVRed it and somehow - because I was so tired - deleted it before I could watch it. Does anyone know it if will be replayed on another channel or possibly have it on VCR or DVD? I will pay you a small fee if needed.
  3. Any interest in Baltimores Melvin Mora - IF IF IF Braun isnt getting the call? Perhaps a package of Gabe Gross and Kevin Mench? Maybe Hart? Baltimore seems unhappy with Corey Patterson and they dont have much depth in the OF. A young guy to go along with Markalis would be a good move for BALT. Jose Castillo has requested a trade from Pitt, but an interdivision trade seems very unlikely. Although Capellan for Castillo would seem to work for me.
  4. Lots of baseball left. I wouldnt waste much more time though with CC at SS - put JJ in there, we need the Offense(and defense).
  5. In all seriousness - why isnt capuano hitting 7th?
  6. I dont get it - if this is going to be your lineup then you NEED to move Weeks to the middle of the order and let Gwynn be a prototype leadoff hitter. Even if we win it seems really dumb in a game this big.
  7. Personally - the whole lottery thing doesnt make sense to me. Why can the top 3 teams only fall 3 spaces? Also - assuming the lottery starts at #13 - and goes to 1, the team with the most ping pong balls would be most likely to be drawn first in that 13th hole to me.
  8. Noah = Tyson Chandler. But whats up with the Nightie?
  9. Conley could really help this team though. So could the chinese kid.
  10. Have you gotten your 25 bucks?
  11. I have an OLD Packer Pennant from 67 I believe. On it they have a original black and white photo of the team. I dont have a picture handy right now because I store it in my parents basement so the kids stay away. Does anyone know what price I am talking about? Oddly enough it is in mint condition. I got it from my great great uncles attic.
  12. Sheets to the Tigers Camron Maybin and Andrew Miller? I just think that Yo needs a spot in the rotation and I think that the signign of Suppan all but guarantees taht we are not going to want to pay Benny big bucks. Anyhow - all love for the home team aside, who is getting the better fo this deal?
  13. Ive always wanted Aaron Heilman.
  14. Teddy Thompson
  15. What would it take to get Milwaukee Boy Joe Randa out of retirement? What is David Bell doing now? Would Vinny Castilla be interested in adding the Brewers to his resume? Jeff Baker is a man without a role in Colorado. What would it take to get him here? CC was signed to be a backup infielder and late game pinch hit option. We need him back in that role.
  16. Might be time to get Sarfate ready - Maybe give him that 7th inning role for a bit. If Turbo doesnt get it straight then we might have the answer under our nose.
  17. I hope turnbow is mature enough to overcome this.
  18. Is there REALLY no better option than Counsell? Counsell to me is most valuble as a late inning pinch hitter/runner cause he just has a knack for it. Anyhow - Glad to see that Turbo is still in there.
  19. Lets get Turbo the W. Make sure that confidence is back. Come on Tony.
  20. Come on Turbo - you still have it.
  21. @#%$ you use Cordero 6 games in a row but you wont use him for 2 innings after 4 days off? TBOW clearly doesnt have it. Ned - You just got 6 inches closer.
  22. ON further review I dont know that the Royals have room for Gross or Gwynn - they really dont need another OF. But they are open to trading one of their starting arms. Per CBS With the market for starting pitchers intensifying as the disabled list grows increasingly crowded, the Royals are willing to entertain trade offers with a surplus of seven starters, as reported by the Kansas City Star. ?We?d be open to anything,? GM Dayton Moore. ?We?ll evaluate what we have and what other clubs are willing to do to obtain what we have. Until it matches up, we?re not going to do anything." The Royals anticipate the return of rehabbing right-handers Luke Hudson and Scott Elarton and all indications suggest both will rejoin the rotation when ready. I dont know exactly what it would take. Perhaps Hart - but again thats an OF which I dont know they need in KC. How about Rottino and Sarfate? Iribarren and Sarfate?
