    Thats something I have been thinking about lately - I think Hardy should be moved to the top of the order. I think you put Weeks in front of Prince and he will see alot more fastballls - which you just dont throw past him.

    I should have been more clear. I think Barmes is a pretty logical guy as far as player for player PERCIEVED value. I really dont think Capellan has too much value right now - as he has done nothing in the Majors. I prefer to hold onto him.

    I think Barmes is a logical guy to get in return. Pretty much the same situation as Capellan. I really want to keep Jose - maybe he just needs to find that hunger again. Maybe a 30.00 food allowance will make him develop a 3rd pitch. I dont think Jiminez is available at all - I think he is one of the better arms in the minors.

    Just asking the guys who know more about this than me a question. If Counsell agrees to a trade, are we able to move him before June 15th? Thanks to Socal for the link - it states the following: June 16, 2007 First day a club may trade a player who was signed after the expiration of the 15-day free agency election period. A Club may assign the contract prior to this date for other player contracts and/or a cash consideration of no more than $50,000 if the player gives his written consent. CBA, Article XX (B) (6).

    Not that I am suggesting that isnt the case, but where in the rules does it say that a player cannot be traded until June 15th if they sign as a Free Agent? Thank you

    I think CV is going to be a great pitcher. That said I also think he is going to start the year in AAA(maybe we could give Vargas just the same - but I dont think the Royals would be so interested). I dont think Teahen blocks Braun but rather allows the Brewers to keep him in AAA until his glove matches his Bat. Just an idea - hoping for discussion.
