  5. wow whats that noise?
  6. What happened to that thread? Id like to check that thing out and cant find it.
  7. Fish are easy - my wife cleans them around Milwaukee. The biggest problem have is overfeeding. Fish are great if your using them as an accent in a room. But id also suggest going saltwater, because the colors and life in the fish is so much bigger.
  8. Again - we had a pitcher throwing a no hitter(CC on Wednesday) and much like the last time we came anywhere near a no no - Brian Anderson is flapping his gums about CC having given up no hits yet, and the cards being hitless. Its almost like he knows what he is doing and trying to be an annoying worm. Look, all superstitions aside, part of the thrill of a no hitter is the tradition of it. Nobody talks to the pitcher, nobody mentions no hitter or no hits. The pitcher is all alone in his part of the dugout. Its part of a buildup to a very special moment. Sure enough after he says the cards have been held hitless, CC gives up his first hit. I am convinced that BA knows what he is doing. I am also convinced that BA is just one of those people that doesnt believe in superstition so goes about his way like any other day - but there are those of us that want it left alone. Either that or he lacks the creativity to say anything else.

  14. Weeks is 15th in the NL in Runs scored. He is having a very good year. Thats what is needed from a leadoff hitter IMO
  15. Ditto. Id be just as happy to add Maddux and see what he could bring.
  16. Well to me, LaPorta could come up right away and play 1st. Or Branyon could play 1st with Hall or Counsell or Gamel at 3rd. Gamel Could learn to play 1st. The best short term option would be Brad Nelson or LaPorta. Hart has too much defensive value where he plays to be moved to 1st.
  17. Lets remember that the trade may very well be agreed upon but now the Brewers are negotiating with CC to see if they can get him signed to an extension. The one thing thats for sure is that the Brewers will not trade away 2 top prospects for a half season rental. It wont happen. if this deal is made, an extension will be signed. They need to get CC to Summerfest and get that extension signed. I think I remember hearing about a 72 hr window that the Tribe would allow teams to negotiate with CC before a trade is made. Assuming this trade was agreed upon on Thursday night and the partys took Friday off to enjoy family, that puts us at Monday to either have a deal or start going another way. I still think the best thing they could do is offer Prince straight up for CC.
  18. Prince for CC makes the most sense. Then we drop gagne(10 mil) in the offseason, dont have to deal with Prince in Arby(8 mil) . Offer 18 a year to both Prince and CC. Let LaPorta play 1st this season. Find a taker for Suppan next year. If you need the money take someones scraps for Bill Hall. Keep Cameron. Sheets CC Yo Parra Mclung/Bush/Prospect A Push to the playoffs or WS would allow us to increase the payroll really significantly. It would make Milwaukee more attractive to Sheets and CC. It all seems to simple from the outside looking in.
  19. Thats how Minn stays competitive, isnt it? I love prince but hearts break when you want a title.
  20. Recent ESPN Article stated from bill Hall quote
  21. If you trade Bill Hall, Princes best friend, then Prince is gone as well. We need to stick with Billy right now.
  22. Still in AAA for the Marlins. Would a guy like Gwynn work?
  23. With a Mustache that Weak you shouldnt be allowed to drive a car. Thats such a sad Stach.
  24. Great America? I dont know - I am trying to figure out what there really is to do this weekend as well. This is the first year I wont be going camping.
  25. Well I guess we will get to find out today.
