  1. Just having watched a handful of his most recent AAA at bats, it seemed like his leg kick has become a bit less pronounced. More of a slide step. He looks quicker to the ball
  2. https://twitter.com/CarolinaMudcats/status/1406623600334024706?s=20 Mudcats game postponed this afternoon due to inclement weather.
  3. What was that inbound play? What!??
  4. I mean if that shot is going to fall for Harden...
  5. Wow he really got heated after the home plate ump chirped at him. Wonder what was said.
  6. Ethan Small is on quite the roll right now. Another dominant start: 7 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K
  7. Since June 1st, Yelich is slugging around .460 (I haven't done the math with today's 1/4 game added in). He's got 10 hits this month: 3 of them are doubles and 2 of them are homers. He's showing signs of life.
  8. Maybe if you make more of these posts in more threads, the offense will get better.
  9. Las Vegas being what it is, the hot ticket sales are almost certainly the result of ticket scalpers buying them all up looking to rip off travelers.
  10. Going to be tough to get swept considering how good the pitching has been the last two games.
  11. That is such a smooth yet explosive swing. Looks a little like Robinson Cano
  12. You certainly love hyperbole.
  13. Glasnow's got a point regarding the mid-season rule changes, especially since the player's union - hitters included - seems to be on the same page regarding the sunscreen + rosin combo. The commissioner's office continues to react extremely late to necessary changes instead of being proactive, and enacts their decisions in such clumsy ways.
  14. "The @Bucks have the least amount of passes per possession in their series vs @BrooklynNets ever since passing data is tracking in 2013-14. The Bucks' offense has basically turned into ISO offense. In 1st half of game 3 they had 0 (half-court) passes in approx 21/43 possessions"
  15. By all accounts this guy has not been a great teammate/clubhouse guy over the years. Hope he doesn't cause problems with the Crew.
  16. They took him out after 80 pitches to manage his innings, and the Padres scored almost immediately haha
  17. Last night was one of the worst NBA games I've ever watched. Just Iso ball all game, no shots falling, no ball movement. Ugly and unwatchable garbage. Giannis needs to stop launching threes, and the Bucks need to stop running Iso plays for him in the halfcourt sets. Watching him dribble back and forth from the top of the key while everyone else stands around and waits for him to drive into a wall is excruciating. He can push the ball and control the action on fast breaks, but in half court offense, let Khris or Jrue initiate the offensive sets. Giannis should be catching the ball in the low post or near the free throw line so the defense collapses on him and he can find open shooters.
  18. I'd be more than happy if the Pirates wanted to leave Colin Moran in Milwaukee on Sunday. Lefty hitter, can play 3rd or 1st somewhat competently. Hitting well this year. Good clubhouse guy. Can't imagine the cost would be too severe. He'd be a good target. I really disagree with the notion that because a certain player plays for Detroit, Pittsburgh, Baltimore etc. their current team will trade them away without exacting a significant return. Moran is controlled through the end of the 2023 season, plays third base (as well as 1B and some 2B) and has a career slash line of .272/.330/.430. Moreover, he is in the midst of a 'break out' season with a slash line of .292/.358/.458. Moran would be a useful player on just about every contending team's roster. The Pirates likely could get a Top 100 prospect for Moran if they wanted to trade him right now. Worth mentioning that he's got a .383 BABIP + a 27% strikeout rate right now. He's a serviceable player, but idk about a Top 100 prospect return. He was also hit by a pitch on his hand the other day, so hopefully he doesn't play in this Brewers series.
  19. Acquired by the Rays
