    If the Angels are open to dealing him, Raisel Iglesias is a free agent next year and he would be a huge addition to the Brewers pen. A few other interesting but not as exciting rental relievers: Yimi Garcia Kendall Graveman Brad Brach Daniel Norris (poor ERA, but he's got a solid K/9, a .403 BABIP going against him, and a 3.71 xFIP) Hector Santiago (nice #'s this year, but we'll have to see if they stick after his suspension)

    They are playing the Cubs!! This is a key series! A Brewers win in this series is a Cubs loss. Why not take a break right now from the 6 man rotation and then going back to it after this series? It's June and I trust Craig/the Brewers braintrust here. If it was August or September, absolutely start Burnes. No reason to alter your season-long pitching plan to keep your guys healthy for a pre-All-Star break series. Who's to say that the Brewers can't win a bullpen game against a washed up Jake Arrieta anyways?

    I do not get this at all. Frustrating. It was set up beautifully for this series. In fact, I thought perhaps that was one of the reasons they went to 6 man rotation for a while - to set this series up. With your top three pitchers, you have a chance to sweep, put the Cubs 6 back, and maybe by mid month both the Cards and Cubs are deciding that are not going to be buyers at the deadline. Does not make any sense. There's so much more baseball to go, why risk it with Burnes. Keep the pitchers on the schedule they've planned for, it's June.

    Being a hockey guy, these are the things that make it hard for me to follow the NBA. You're in the Conference Finals. How in the world is this even questionable? Questionable means he's going to play. It's hard for you to follow the NBA because of standard injury designations?

    Rough AAA debut for Ethan Small, as he departs with 2 outs in the top of the 3rd, 2 runs in, and the bases still loaded. He walked 5 and only struck out 1 while also giving up 3 hits. His command was clearly shaky, but he also wasn't missing by much from what I saw. Very tight strike zone.

    Just tune out ESPN/Stephen A. Smith. The network and this show in particular exists solely to manufacture mindless controversy for hate-watching and clicks on ESPN.com. I can almost guarantee some producer told them to just dump on Milwaukee and Phoenix for awhile.

    I'd bet Stearns expected the addition of LBJ would be positive for the offense and not just Defense. The fact that LBJ is the worst hitter in MLB hasn't helped the offensive struggles. Stearns needs to take a long look at his approach to building the offense if he seriously thought signing a former president that's been dead for 48 years would help this team.
