Burns Start aganist the Mets Team was not very good at the very Least. Burns is not a major league Starter sorry But have to agree with Ryan. -
Lets not put anything in stone the Pirates are due to beat us and Wash still has some bit in them.
-
I hope this is true if the braves want either Gamel or Escobar.
-
If Gamel not going to start at third ,then send him down and bring up Heether .
-
Maybe this is just what the Brewers need everyone ticked off . I think everyone has their right to Say but maybe both needed to keep this in House.
-
Totally agree Keep our Best Prospects and move on .
-
with 6 games remaining in the home stand ,i am not sure we have an answer if the Brewers have enough pieces to be Buyers or are thety better off being Sellers at this Point looking to add quality young arms.
-
I hope Melvin sticks to his Guns and keeps these youngsters the only way you move one of those kids is for Halladay or Peavy.

Does this team need another hitter?

WELL considering what type of bench Players we have now that should be another Option for Melvin to explore. -
Does this team need another hitter?
brewmann04 replied to Invader3K's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Finding a #2 starter might not be in the Cards and getting another Hitter might be better and cost cheaper. -
Well we did not give up any Pitching to Get CC last year,It just that the Brewers have not been able to help from their draft of Starting Pitchers be it (not working out or Injury) Right Now it looks like the Brewers are stuck because their top Pitching Prospects are in the Lower Levels and won't be able to help for a while. If the Brewers do trade any of their Starters IE Hart or Hardy it has to be for Young Major league Ready Pitching.

Pirates release Craig Monroe
brewmann04 replied to yount19.u's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
Please say no to Monroe we need an upgrade and he is not the answer . -
I would think Melvin and macha knows we need another bat in that order to add a bit more constiency to that Lineup. Prince an Ryan can't do it all and Casey has been a hugh bonus but we see what he has in August and September when we need him.
-
I got no problem with what Braun said ,heck we all know that true and your Not going to win with a McClung and Burns In your Rotation.I like the Idea him speaking his Mind and he is the Vocal leader of the Team and wished he would have said they needed another Bat also.
-
Point well taken
-
and i say it again until Macha understand that Hall is not an Option just because he makes a big salary.I am sorry but it so frustrating Seeing him Play and doing absoutly nothing to help this team win.
-
Thank Tsack forget to post the Link
-
Hall just needs a seat on the Bench no need to have him start any time soon.
-
every series is very important in division Play. The Brewers seem to have alot or Issues and unless they can get it solved soon we won't be making a postseason this season.
-
i have to say it an upgrade over Burns but not sure how much
-
I agree Pebader The Hitting has really been dissapointing with the struggles of Hall,Hart,Hardy and Cameron. Two guys can't carry this team and hope Melvin looking at adding a hitter along with a pitcher.
-
There is a reason why Burns is considered a Jouryman and he really is not a MLB Starter.
-
we need 2/3 vs STL and that would be nice with the 3 Pitchers we have going. The Brewers are very lucky to be where we are and the Lack of Pitching Depth has really hurt this team. I agree the Cubs with a full line up are going to be hard to beat. Hart ,Hardy and Cameron lack of hitting has killed this team and the lack of Quality Pitching beyond Yo and yes Looper has kept this team at mediocre at best.
-
well i guess you have to look at it we are 1 game out of first with guys like McClung and Burns in the Rotation and Parra Meltdown along with a guy like Naverson who should be in 3a. I guess we should be happy where we are currently
-
Gamel needs to be playing Full time Send him down and continue to learn on Playing Defense with Don Money. Gamel sitting on the Bench does not do any good for the Player.
