  1. Castellanos is the kind of veteran hitter who knows the situation there and says let me hit the ball hard somewhere. Brewers would have been 0-2 and then looked at a borderline strike three.
  2. Paredes should be ahead of both and for some reason we never saw him.
  3. This is why imo Brewers still need to get another bat or two at deadline. If any of the pitching comes back they should be ok but I do not trust guys like Adames Frelick Ortiz Bauers etc in big spots down the stretch. Give me one more run producer and a bench bat so I never have to see Dunn pinch hit again.
  4. These are the same issues we have watched over the years with this team. You have to do the little things to beat good teams. Phillies are winning because they do and oh by the way have killer bullpen.
  5. Brewers must have left the Sox the Imanaga notes.
  6. Nice job. Love what Trevor is bringing to the table.
  7. I guess we could be the Cubs down 5-0 to the gulp.... White Sox.
  8. This is playoff level baseball. Unfortunately looks like every playoff series we have seen the Brewers play. Just not enough hero moments.
  9. I just can't believe how many times this team gets called out on strikes. In that situation you don't need a perfect pitch just make contact. Veteran player too. Hard to believe.
  10. This offense needs Contreras to get going again. He's the straw that stirs the drink.
  11. You can't be perfect but jeez. Two runs in two games is not enough to win.
  12. This is why hiding him last night against Wheeler doesn't make sense. He's going to have to learn sometime.
  13. This mash unit staff has been unbelievable.
  14. Aaron Ashby is in Philadelphia. Guessing he is Gasser replacement.
  15. This is ridiculous. Never seen anything like it.
  16. To me it's simple who is playing while he is sitting. If the answer is Jake Bauers he should be in there somewhere.
  17. Well played game by two good teams. Brewers had them where they wanted and let them off the hook.
