  1. He just went deep to straight away center. The guy is a monster when healthy. Put him after Contreras and Yelich and drop Willy to 6 and we are in business.
  2. Has anyone fallen farther than Javy Baez? He is stealing money since he left the Cubs.
  3. You could say that about Mitchell obviously. It comes down to what is the price? If it isn't too steep it's a no brainer.
  4. You mean proven like Garrett Mitchell Sal Frelick etc... This guy hit 38 hr last year not 5 years ago. If you think after that Phillies series Brewers couldn't use another run production bat I don't know.... you can argue they have arms coming back. I don't see any bats coming to the rescue. Difference of opinion I guess.
  5. Picking up Robert would be sorta like picking up Yelich when we did. Young still best ball ahead of him. Where are the prospects that we gave up to get him? Selling shoes? People love prospects till they ain't prospects anymore. Give me a proven stud. Sure he gets hurt but imagine going from the Sox to this team. He will want to play.
  6. White Sox are fielding offers for Luis Robert. He would be huge get imo. Go with Yelich Robert Chourio in outfield. Trade Frelick Weimer and maybe Misiorowski? Source: according to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the White Sox are very open for business (despite it being early June) and are open to dealing oft-injured star outfielder Luis Robert Jr. Robert, who is signed through 2025 with two team options in 2026 and 2027, is scuffling a little this year (92 OPS+) but was stellar last season, posting a 5.0 rWAR season for the White Sox.
  7. Is Wilken untouchable? Isn't he hitting 220 in double a? Don't know enough about him.

  9. What's clear now is the Chourio Frelick Perkins section of the outfield needs more juice. Go get another bat first outfielder who can drive in some runs. Ask Sox what they want for Robert.
  10. Given the two guys hitting ahead of him this season three if you add Turang he has underperformed. Put the average cleanup hitter in this lineup with same opportunities and they would be better. He should not and would not be hitting cleanup on a good team.
  11. This may be true today. This is a season long issue. I watch a lot of baseball. I see teams go weeks without having this happen. Now granted maybe it's happening more to the Brewers because they have more runners there but the talk here is why not send him? Well for one you can't score on a sac fly from first. Same with a wild pitch. The Brewers are doing this it appears regardless of how many outs they have.I would rather just stay put at third instead of running into a 90 percent out at home. I just don't buy into an outs an out defense. In fact I would guess the scout on the Brewers is infielder throw it home because they are running no matter what.
  12. Outs at home means alot. Especially when you can't score. Not sure what Ricky has to do with anything.
  13. Frelick needs to learn how to bunt. Lefty with wheels he should be slump proof.
  14. Phillies are going to win a 3 game series scoring 6 runs.
  15. Should not slide head first into home imo.
  16. If Adames is your cleanup hitter you are two bats short. He should be hitting 6. The mountain of guys lob is crazy.
  17. Somebody has to call out the insanity of getting guys thrown out at the plate every single night. It is completely ridiculous. What is happening?
  18. Given the state of the rotation you could argue Burnes would be more of an impact. Spilled milk but just a thought.
  19. You could say the same about Adames. He's still here.
  20. I love what Ortiz has done but Burnes era 2.26 would really look good this year with us.
  21. Cubs lead 7-6. Sox are just embarrassing themselves.
  22. Great opportunity for Ashby and he needs to make the most of it. Offense needs to get him some runs early.
  23. Cards losing too Brewers could have been looking at close to 10 game lead with a few more runs this series.
