The Dodgers seem to sign everyone but they let Seager get away who was a home grown stud. Gm should be on the hot seat.

I saw the Brewers beat up on Dbacks in Chase field two years ago and at the time I thought they were the worst team I had seen in a long time. They were pathetic. Brewers not being able to have any playoff success since 2018 is just remarkable to me.

This marketplace sets up so good for Arnold and the Brewers to get back max value for Burnes and any other pitchers they want to deal. Big market teams flaming out like this going to drive up the price. I don't even want to hear about Burnes coming back and taking a draft pick. Now is the time.

That's true just given the choice I trust the big bats over the good to decent pitching. Brewers pitching never seems to show up as advertised so let's try something new.

Bats. Bats. Bats. You can talk all you want Brewers about pitching but in the playoffs give me the guys who can change a game with one swing. Rangers too. You know Astros going to hit. The thing is you can pitch around one guy maybe even two but when you are stacked a hit and a walk become three runs.

Brewers should see what Orioles would give us for Burnes. They need a number one.

Dodgers in big trouble but they have bats so it's never over. Braves proved that also tonight. That's what hurt Brewers. Once they got down you knew it was over.

Not sure they want to part with them but yeah I would too except they seem to all get hurt. Shelby Miller is pitching. That says alot about where they are.

Dodgers should be on the phone looking to make a deal for Burnes as soon as the season is over. They have basically zero healthy arms considering the payroll. I would think we could get something done with them. Lux missed the season but I would still take him back.

People talking about Counsell going to New York. 😆 he will be looking around for Sophia after the game and there will be 20 guys asking him questions like how in the heck are you hitting Winker there?? He doesn't know how good he has it. Having no real media makes life here super easy.

Yelich isn't getting traded as his contract is nuts. That said you do need a face with so much turnover. I am fine with keeping him as long as he isn't playing the outfield in front of a youngster. His level of production this season was good and could have been better had he had any help besides Contreras. Also if Miley is willing bring him back as a veteran influence.

Now is the perfect time to trade Adames Burnes and Williams and load up on young mlb ready prospects and rebuild. New manager too. This organization has done a nice job of creating a young pipeline of talented guys. We need to do what teams like Orioles and Dbacks are doing. Play the young talent and stop with the stopgaps. Ask Yelich to play 1st base and clear the outfield for Mitchell Frelick Chourio. That alone would get me to buy a ticket. It's time to start fresh and build something to get over the hump. Stopgaps are what you use when you are close. This team has proven it's not so youth be served. A team with Mitchell Chourio Black Contreas Frelick Yelich maybe Turang if he figures it out Monteserio Quero would be exciting. I would take a flyer on Hiura as the dh now that Counsell is gone. He could be 25 hr 80 rbi guy imo. Add in the trade hauls and you could be back in the playoffs in a year.

I really wish we had some tough media after a game like this. When Mcalvey asks Counsell a question it's like two buddies on a bar stool.

Phillies Braves Dodgers and D backs. Three teams with lumber and a team that embarrassed the Brewers. Sounds about right.

Counsell is gone so it really doesn't matter. You really should have said here is an extension with a bump in pay. If you are in sign if not we are going to move on.

True but we know Turang can't hit. Willy has the talent and nobody is teaching him. Arcia proved that when you work with talent it gets better. Same will happen with Willie once he escapes.

Outside of Yelich and Contreras we should have new players at every spot. I don't want to hear about Chourio needing to work on this or that. Same with Black. Put the talent on the field take your lumps and become the Orioles. Enough with band aid approach.
