  1. Relative to what? How many world series have they won? The Florida Marlins have two 😳. The length people go to just say the Brewers are top flight top tier organization is really strange. Are they good? Sure. Are they beyond reproach? Not at all. If they even just make a World Series I will stand down. Till then questions can and should be asked.
  2. Again my opinion is that just because it's the way do it means it makes sense. Drafting the 60 best player in the 17th player slot doesn't necessarily make for good sense. Nothing you say is going to change that opinion so just keep scrolling if you don't agree. That's all. Your condescending approach is tiresome.
  3. What did I say that was untrue? Everything you say is an opinion same as me. They both have merit. You seem to think mine does not not. You are incorrect.
  4. No more than you and everyone else here. Of course you seem to think everything you say is a fact. 😆 The thing is everything we say here is opinion. That's why we are here.
  5. I give Johnson the benefit of the doubt but I think it's worth asking questions. Now I do understand questions are frowned upon by some here but I don't just go group think like most here. I am open to the ideal that there are possibilities the Brewers could be better.
  6. We shall see. Eric Brown does still exist but we will see.
  7. If there was no difference everyone would be doing it. They ain't.
  8. Ahh pitching. I was told we didn't need any because we have plenty. I will still take it.
  9. Agreed. If you are going to pay a lesser talent more and a better talent less just reverse the order so you get who you like and aren't at the mercy of others.
  10. My complaint is they are not taking the time honored approach of drafting best player available. As a small market only way you are going to get high level talent is the draft. Drafting the 60 best player at 17 is not that.
  11. Good to know. I would prefer when our time to pick comes up draft the best players available. Pay them what they are worth and stack as much high level talent as possible given where they are drafting. Thank you.
  12. If we are saving money on draft picks and not signing our own big league players who's getting all the money 🤔
  13. I honestly don't mind drafting a first baseman if his bat is can't miss. This doesn't appear to be that.
  14. I understand that I just liked some of the arms available vs a 17 yr old slap hitting outfielder. Still time though.
  15. I didn't say they didn't. There is no truth to the statement pitching is the strength of the system. None. Unless the Brewers who by the way traded a Cy young level pitcher because they couldn't afford to pay him are going to start paying top dollar they should always prioritize drafting their own. That's all I'm saying. If you argue against that I don't know what to tell you.
  16. Based on what? The cupboard isn't bare but also we signed Dallas Kuechel so we could use some more imo.
  17. This organization needs to prioritize pitching. Lots of good arms were on the board there.
  18. Dodgers were there to be passed. Not happening it looks like.
  19. If Bauers is hitting for Mitchell in the 9th why not play him in left and let Frelick play center. I don't understand Murphy ball. Lean offense and play the best 9. Stop messing around.
