    More than anything this organization needs to recalibrate its philosophy of hitting. Pitcher in trouble?swing at first pitch. Men on base? Take pitches and strike out looking. Need contact? Swing for the fences. They just don't seem to know the game.

    The new rule keeping rosters at 28 instead of 40 hurts Counsell big time. He used to be the master at the expanded bullpen. He has struggled with not having lots of options.

    I need to understand why Anderson is still here. 13 innings you can't buy a hit and no call. This is why Donaldson needs to be called up. He still can run into a fastball maybe in a big spot. Anderson is just a season ticket holder now.

    A few days I mentioned how when Counsell has a chance to sweep and go for the kill he often does crazy stuff like 2 out of 3 is cool. Today was a perfect example. If they were trying to salvage a game in the series you would have seen Hoby. Look it up.

    It is incredible that Counsell after all that has happened today to set this up for a huge win decided that Chafin v Stanton is how I want to go. It's illogical and he will definitely blow off any questions about it like it was a no brainer.
