    They need another bullpen piece as well. Especially if they don't get another bat. They burn down the reliable pen quickly playing all the close games. Need another option to help.

    Not a huge move but given how pathetic the lineup is and has been it feels like one. Definitely a big upgrade on D. Now just get the lineup set up with Frelick leading off Contreras second Yelich third Santana cleaning up and Adames 5th and it's not too bad. Still need a outfielder but I think they find one.

    I am definitely worried about Frelick now that he's here. That quick short approach especially with two strikes is going to be tested by being around this group. I could see the hitting coaches saying something like look here son you may have been able to get on base and hit 300 down there but here we swing at everything and try to hit home runs even with two strikes. Let's go.

    Given Woodruff has been out all year. Same with Lauer. Miley banged up and no Ashby I am floored that this organization is going to miss one last chance to compete for the first world series in 40 years because of lack of hitting. It's so weird.

    Why people are still pitching to Yelich is pretty amazing. He's basically all they have right now.

    Lane is horrible but he knows that the odds of this team coming up with a big two out hit is non existent. The pressure gets to everyone eventually.
