Someone has to explain the Dunn situation. He didn't even make the team in the spring. Monteserio and Ortiz did and now these guys are watching him play every day. I don't get it.
  2. Bulldogboy
No revisions necessary. He hasn't been great handling bullpen in about 5 years. His peak was 2018. He's just a guy in that department.
  3. Bulldogboy
    Play Ortiz man...
  4. Bulldogboy
They have been winning so not too bad. They liked he pulled plug on Alozay as closer. Still honeymoon period.
  5. Bulldogboy
    Sanchez at first? 🤔
  6. Bulldogboy
Counsell seems to be another guy who just doesn't seem to get it with pitching moves. He's not going to be able to just blow off Sophia after the game. Chicago media will eat.
  7. Bulldogboy
    Counselled!!
  8. Bulldogboy
Back issues. They didn't dl him right away because he was supposed to be back in a few days.
  9. Bulldogboy
The Yelich situation continues to be frustrating and ridiculous all at the same time.

I'm one of those who is constantly harping on just this fact. Spit seeds and play the best players is job description for managing. Unfortunately they often get in the way because they try to do cute stuff like putting Bauers in the outfield.

Turang needs to be given his respect. Hitting like this with his glove is 5.0 war player.

I wanted Brewers to trade for Busch so bad. It was easy call and they got Bauers instead. Brutal.
  13. Bulldogboy
If Chourio is going to watch Jake Bauers play send him down. Brewers could not be worse at handling young position players. Dunn may be good bench bat but this season has to be about getting a young core experience. You are not winning the world series with Jumping Joe Ross as your number 3. 🙄
  14. Bulldogboy
Good pitching and of course no hitting. The mark of a team in trouble. This offense is rancid.
  15. Bulldogboy
I can't believe Dunn got called out again. Either he needs glasses or he has no idea what the strike zone is. Send him out for Black.
  16. Bulldogboy
    Dunn looking again. Unbelievable.
  17. Bulldogboy
    I believe I could go 4-8.
  18. Bulldogboy
    Rizzo loves Brewers pitching.
  19. Bulldogboy
I think being 20 years old not speaking much English in a new town and also learning baseball is probably a lot. I'm guessing he might be both.
  20. Bulldogboy
Position player two days in a row probably.
  21. Bulldogboy
Well last time we saw him good he was in a bullpen. There is no documentation of him being an effective mlb starter. There is more chance that Ashby could be that than Hall right now. That's all I'm saying.
  22. Bulldogboy
Hall eats what 3 per start? Myers has been better than him.
  23. Bulldogboy
Another question is the Yelich situation given his importance. They never have said what exactly is he dealing with. Wear and tear? Specific injury? How does his back flare up 10 games into the season after an entire off season? If he comes back hitting imo look for a trade to max value. 20 games and out 20 isn't good value.
  24. Bulldogboy
Question is what's the plan? Gasser? Arnold has to come up with something. Fact is he's under some pressure because of the fast start. They could be under 500 soon if more pitching isn't found.
  25. Bulldogboy
Given that this staff is smoke and mirrors Uribe being terrible is basically the worst news of the season.
