Rockies (Lambert) vs Brewers (Peralta): 8/7/23, 7:10pm
Bulldogboy replied to Brock Beauchamp's topic in Archived Game Threads
Is Tyrone Taylor necessary against a right handed pitcher? I don't get it. Blake Perkins being punished for having a nice game the other night? -
True but our bench is probably worst in mlb. There are no good options. That said that's why Hiura would be nice to have around. He can run into one we know.
-
Now is when Sophia will hit Counsell with that Willie looked like he was swinging the bat better right Craig?
-
Some people feel better when they eat cotton candy. I'm just telling you that you are off base on this.
-
Adames has swung at the 7 pitches he has seen.
-
Nah bro. We been down that road before.
-
The Hiura situation has been discussed to death but I would like some kind of on record explanation because if this was any other business questions would be asked about what is going on here.
-
True but only because of the division. In context we are not a good baseball team.
-
Weimer bring allowed to hit the way he does tells you something about the organization in general. Do whatever you want. Results be dammed.
-
I wonder are we sure Jackson Chourio is not a better option for this team than Weimer? Why or why not?
-
Probably true
-
Well it was last night. Now it can't
-
As this era of Brewers baseball comes to a close there needs to be a study done on the use of resources and the swindled assets of pitching and no hitting. I believe it was an organization failure of epic levels.
-
Well then give Uribe two innings. You can't let the 7th reliever get you a guaranteed L.
-
Like I said.
-
Counsell has broken Adames by keeping him in the lineup in the cleanup spot no less. A guy needs a mental health day every once in a while.
-
You can't give up a run here so why not Payamps just in case?
-
Canha got a break and then decided let me get myself out since you won't do it. Lol.
-
Frelick actually worked a count and what do you know...
-
Adames is non competitive and basically quit that ab. He's done.
-
I would say Counsell needs to bench Willie after that mistake but he has all the hits so....
-
Unbelievable how the lack of faith in the next man up takes hold. These guys don't have any either so they just keep running.
-
What are we doing? Lol
-
I have never seen a Brewers team swing at more 2-0 counts when the pitch is not even close to a strike. It is clear they are being taught to get ahead and swing as hard as you can regardless. Hitting philosophy needs complete overhaul.

When is the last time this Brewers offense tried to bunt and make something happen?
