So. You're telling me we are playing Jake Bauers veteran journeyman over the 3rd overall pick who saved our season and the second highest paid player on the team because he's our best defensive 1st baseman despite the fact you kicked him off the roster last season and nobody wanted him? OK I guess.

My point exactly. Although Siegler can't hit he was in a soft platoon with Durbin. Montesario could have taken the ab given to Siegler and actually been twice as productive.

This was only because Ortiz got injured. Adjust this for the time prior and after the injury. It can be said Siegler was playing ahead of Monasterio easily.

Mind you Anthony Siegler has had more consistent playing time than Monasterio. That's ridiculous.

This take is something. Explain to me after what you have seen should Hoskins be pinch hitting for Ortiz or should Monasterio? That's what keeps happening and it's silly unless you just trying to keep Hoskins engaged.

Well it feels good to be validated. I keep hearing how we can't sit Ortiz because his defense is so great. I just can't understand what people are watching. This guy can't play a couple times a week?

There is a clear bias the manager has for Bauers. It's incredible. The other thing is they pinch hit Hoskins for Ortiz and then burn Montesario on D. Just let Montesario hit for Ortiz and save Hoskins for that ab. I manage on the show video game. It's not hard.

Like i said early in games he blows off ab. Later he locks in. He needs to do it all day long
