Sucks for Ortiz to miss time but having Bauers replace him is ridiculous. So are we a a couple days from having Vaughn Hoskins and Bauers sharing first base? I don't trust Murphy when he has to many bad options to choose from.

Well now we know the Cubs will be around till the end. It's up to the Brewers to make it happen. The deadline is factoring into this little lull. You needed more depth imo. Siegler Perkins etc are nice guys but could have used another bat.

If you lose a game where you give up 2 hits then it's time to panic.

Perkins looks like a guy who isn't enjoying being here. If the death in family has him out of sorts understandable but stand down then.

Why are we bunting a guy over with one out? Just play Durbin if this guy can't hit a right handed pitcher.

The left side of the infield combined ops is 566 so it's not going to be easy to rally much.

Bats need to step up here. 3 runs is no issue if they can hold it here.

No need to panic but Miz needs to establish fastball and go from there. You can treat him like he's Kershaw mixing 4 pitches. Place some blame on Contreras.
