    I'm shocked that people are saying we have pitching depth so who cares about Myers. Woodruff Henderson and Gasser are injury questions. Miz is still a question mark imo. Basically it's Priester and Patrick and pray for rain right now. Sproat strikes me as Collin Rae. Hope I'm wrong.

    I mean Freddy on last year was always going to be iffy but this deal is a bit worse than I thought and we throwing in Myers makes it really rough. No way Sproat gives us what Myers could have. Brewers better know something we don't about Woody health. Now go spend a few bucks you saved.

    The thing about trading Freddy is why trade him to a team you're already chasing? Dodgers should be on the no trade list.

    Brewers would be smart to grab Tong in a trade imo. He seems to have the deception they like to work with. I wonder if this is happening because Woodruff excepted the offer. I'm guessing Brewers rethinking that decision.

    What's the chance of Jordan Montgomery taking a prove it deal to pitch this season? I would love to see what Brewers could do with him.

    I'm surprised he accepted. I gotta think this makes Peralta more likely to be dealt. I would keep them both but Mark A don't usually roll like that.

    Not a fan of this decision. Paying Woodruff 20 million is insane unless this is part of an overall payroll increase. I don’t want to run it back with Ortiz because they spent money on Woodruff and nobody else

    These three players provided just about what I did in the playoffs this year. If you want to go with that as great deals so be it. Now I'm not saying Brewers were not smart on the margins but your top three salaries can't be zero impact and then cry about Dodgers payroll is unfair. Now let's see if they take that money and find some talent that can help including a shortstop who can hit better than me.

    Players will never agree to a cap unless maybe you offer free agency after say 4-5 years. Quicker run to big money but less up side on bigger money? Regardless Brewers have to be smarter than blowing 45 million on Yelich Woodruff and Hoskins.

    Need a cf and a shortstop for next season. I would make a run at O'Neil Cruz. He makes sense as a young piece with pop. We have prospects. Ortiz makes some sense for them. Let's keep Chourio in left and Frelick in right. Cruz can play center or moonlight at short. He will be better on a winning team. Brewers need to be bold. I know they won't be but they should be.

    Payroll blah blah blah. Your 3 highest paid players are Yelich Hoskins and Woodruff. They contributed zero this series. Somethings got to change when you are a small market and spending money on guys who can't play. Dodgers are spending big money but on guys who produce. That's part of the gap we saw. Arnold has to address.

    It hurts to get embarrassed but I hope it's a wake up for Murphy who needed to humbled a bit imo. He's not Abner Doubleday. You would think he invented the game
