  1. The Brewers must lead the league in hits and walks to the opposing pitchers. He literally tried to make an out and chacin screws around and let's him go 3-1 and then he gets his first major league hit
  2. Maybe it might be time to move shaw down to 6th in the order. Maybe it's just me, but he doesn't seem like a cleanup hitter the last 6-8 weeks.
  3. Swing away jose..I mean jesus Whatever the line was from the mel gibson alien movie
  4. We finally got off the schnide at 15 games over. it's up to 18 now Maybe we can go 5-3 or 6-2 in the next 8 games. I think we will score over 5 runs a game in that span
  5. I love this lineup too. Perez is great in the 7th hole. I think you can't go wrong with either batting 7th. Nottingham has some power so maybe he can be an upgrade at the 8 hole
  6. That is about as good as a 1-7 lineup as we can get without a trade for a better SS.
  7. I think he will hit 45 homers now if he doesn't get hurt. His average may dip but I don't see him hitting under .280, probably .290 to .300 I think the RBIs will keep coming if cain and yelich stay healthy. I say .295 average. 45 homers and 110 RBIs. A prince fielder type year but he will have to do it again next year
  8. I think we are ok at 2nd with the brad miller/jonathan villar platoon, but I see villar maybe being part of the trades coming up. Broxton and domingo too.
  9. They could probably get him cheap. I realize he is very average this year, but he fits DS method of picking up pitchers
  10. No yelich for the 7th straight day. I assume he could PH today. He must be almost 100% by now or he would be on the 10 day DL.
  11. And I have no problem at all with keeping Broxton over sogard, except that there is barely enough AB for thames as it is. Holey moley, broxton can really run down balls almost as well as cain. What a great group of OF we boast
  12. I would tinker with the idea of villar batting 9th as the 2nd leadoff hitter and obviously braun and thames platoon at LF
  13. The lineup going forward Cain Yelich Aguilar Shaw Braun Miller Villar Pina The bench is Thames Saladino Perez Kratz Sogard
  14. The guy went 8-0 at Biloxi with a 1.76 ERA And he has done well so far at CS, He cant be worse than zagurski or Wilkerson. Lastly he is hitting ,225 so that's a plus I think it is him or lopez
  15. I already conceded. Cain is the better all around player, and the better MVP Lately all I have been doing is saying , that you guys mis-read one of my posts I don't care about aguilar's defense, as it relates the brewers I DO care about cain"s defense bc he is all world. Some of you guys thought I was talking about cain's defense and that I didn't care. So, you guys can stop stop trying to convince me, I am convinced. I always was when it comes to cain's defense. He is all world Nothing cd be further from the truth
  16. I concede. You guys are right. I named the title MVP. IF you include cain's all world defense, he is the team's most valuable player.
  17. I DONT CARE ABOUT AGUILAR'S DEFENSE, because it doesn't hurt our team. I have said anything but glowing remarks about cain's defense And I am not dismissing anyone bc as the first post says, cain and hader are a close 2nd. So here, Cain is the better all around player...Not a doubt. You can post any of your thoughts about cain you want. The point I was making yesterday was you said cain is unbelievable, well, so is aguilar, bc YOU said he was an afterthought in late march and we should trade him. and now he is leading the whole league in homers, slugging, and OPS, and 5th in BA and RBI
  18. Braun should be in your top 16 somewhere. He is batting .326 WITH RISP. with 6 HRs and 26 RBIs, and a few game winners. and he has made some circus catches
  19. I know we have at least 3 other guys too, like cain, hader and jefrees, but for my money, I say jesus aguilar BA is .299 16 homers 50 RBIs, .350 OBP and a .955 OPS I honest think he will hit close to 40 homers this and 100 RBIs. He has improved and is even hitting well against RHP too I put hader and cain a close 2nd who is your brewer MVP that is the original post. I am not dismissing anyone. I am saying it is very close. If you want to think cain is that much better, that's fine. For the tenth time, YOU say aguilar is one dimensional. I DONT care...(i.e) his defense in no way hurts the brewers. NOT in comparing the 2 players. STOP bringing that up. All I care is that aggie keeps raking and getting HR's and RBI's, and we keep winning STOP talking about cain's defense like I am dismissing it somehow. I love the guy and think he is all world and I said 4 times in this thread.YEESH
