  1. Jim Slaton has the Brewer record for a reliever with 14 wins in 1983 with 0 starts. Brent Suter won 12 games in 2011 while working primarily in relief (with nine starts).
  2. Thanks....I knew they were decent at it last year but I am a bit suprised by this year.
  3. I dont have numbers to prove it but the crew does not seem to be as good with RISP so far this season.
  4. Heck of a home stand. Man I love having Vaughn back.
  5. I wonder what manager is the best at thinking outside the box with relation to handling his bull pen? CC in his early brewer days before the rule changes seemed to do things in a less rigid manner. Having an Alpha closer makes the decision making more straight forward but right now we really don't have an Alpha. We have some decent Betas but I would not consider them in the top 4 or 5 in the MLB.
  6. Especially when you have triple digit gas in the tank with movement
  7. I dont think its sacrilege to say Murph's weakest area as a manager is bull pen management. He has many strengths but that is not one of them.
  8. The walk in front of the meatball was the real issue.
  9. Padres have the better closer.......by a fair bit.
  10. He hit 2 - 420+ bombs when I was at the game in SD a month ago with one of them a walk off.
