Incredibly stupid penalty for Bantle to take right there. You really had them on the run before that. On edit.. Also a bad time for the penalty kill to go on vacation.

Tournament game and you've got about 10 people from the band here. Wonder what the deal is as to why attendance is so crappy for this and it's not spring break yet

Wow did Minnesota get away with a massive hook that led to their game-winning goal.

Hopefully tonight we can get some guys going. Fitzgerald and Finley are the ones that really have to start producing.

We just don't have enough goal scoring to cover where one mistake in the third period ends up costing them games.

Have to give Ohio State credit they played pretty good defense and got their sticks and bodies on a lot of passes.

Got a bad feeling about this one. This is the recipe to when they lose. Games like this are where the lack of having another high end scorer really show up.

Kind of a disappointing attendance for a home playoff game.

Not sure I've seen these guys this reluctant to shoot when they had a chance this year. Turned down an awful lot of shots so far.

Scholls has been really shaky so far. Far too many turnovers in their own zone.

Interesting backstory. My oldest son coached him as an eighth grade B teamer in Dodgeville. Said he is a great kid.

The lions signing of Montgomery last year had to be one of the better signing off the year.

Even with the injury history Guerendo would be an interesting late round pick. Relatively low carry count for college and good speed.

I still maintain that over the second half of the season the Badgers haven't changed that much. its all the teams around us improved because they had much more room to grow. Badgers just got to their peak a lot earlier

No matter how the season finishes out I have to give major props to what Hastings and the squad has done in less than a year. Wisconsin will likely finish second in the nation in mens college hockey attendance and if they would have had the same number of home games as North Dakota they likely would have finished first. And the Wisconsin women will once again lead the nation in attendance.

Good crowd... Good start. One more decent goal scorer and we could have had 4 or 5 goals in the 1st

Wonder how the Badgers are going to fare on the all Big ten teams. Maybe Chucky sneaks on to the third team along with AJ but beyond that maybe some honorable mentions. Pretty much the whole second half of the season the Badgers not had the best player on the court.

If the Badgers don't win a game then they may get jumped yet by Iowa as well. Both Minnesota and Iowa are playing pretty good basketball right now.

I would say crowl is probably a better rebounder and a bit better offensively but Nate was a far better defender. They're probably pretty comparable overall
