Two goals in the last minute of the period get Bucky back to even at 2 after 2.

Definitely in a bit of a funk right now. Out shooting ND 18-7 but down 2-0 after one.

Yeah...it was pretty boring. I liked the concept but it just never got it's legs. Way to little action

Staying ahead of Purdue was always going to be a tall ask. Illinois is really the only team with an outside chance of catching them. We're still a decent team but I think we hit our ceiling and hanging on to fourth place or better is still going to be a challenge. Rutgers will be an interesting challenge to see if they can stop the bleeding. That place has always been difficult for Bucky.

Winning at Rutgers is not an easy thing to do. I'm guessing Bucky might even be a dog in this one.

I think Gard does a good job in the off-season and early season getting the team to play close to their ceiling but as the season goes on most of the other teams have a higher ceiling athletically and make bigger gains as the season goes on.

Hopefully they can still hold off Illinois for second place but looking at the schedules I think Illinois has the easier route and the home game we have with them might be for second place although they have a better chance of catching Purdue than we do.

He's always going to have the albatross of not being able to win super bowls without Brady around his neck. It really was a perfect blend though with his mind on the defense and Brady running the offense

There's two guys on this team that are by far the most important. McClelland and Lucius. They are now 0-3-1 without Cruz in the lineup.

How a referee could look at that on video replay and not dish out a 5-minute major and the possible game DQ is beyond me.

Have to say I'm really impressed with the Minnesota defenseman. They just make it so difficult to get around and to get a decent shot. And we play well as a group of five but we don't have a whole lot of guys that can beat high level defenseman one-on-one.

Those two points that they just basically stole could end up being very important.
