    That was disturbingly easy.

    Bigger issue is getting his front foot on the ground on time. The big front foot lift means you have zero margain for error on reading the speed of the pitch and getting it on the ground. Ohtani radically changed his front foot mechanics because of that. We have had a history of bad front foot mechanics from Huira to Arcia to Urias to Wiemer to Black. Some of them did not come through the farm system but either way we dont correct it early.
