  1. Unless something changes he should be.
  2. 3rd best hitter on the team.
  3. The thing that makes Freddy and Woo effective is the ability to use the upper quadrants of the zone. So many of todays hitter's swing paths are geared for pitches from knees to thighs. Part of the reason sinker ballers are much less effective today than 10-15 years ago.
  4. I would be most interested in his locations.
  5. Are we being graded on a curve?
  6. Would be interesting to see how that compares to the other playoff teams.
  7. Have to think about that one....
  8. About to be 2 and 4 over the last 6.
  9. Willie with a 3 for 22 in that part of the order just kills the offense.
  10. My biggest concern with Burns is he rarely uses the upper quadrants of the strike zone and guys can really change their focus points to mid thigh on down. I think he would be more effective at times if he would break out some four seamers above the belt
  11. 3 and 0 and three straight pipe shots and can't get it in play.
  12. The offenses maddening habit of disappearing at the worst possible time quickly erases any playoff hope every time i start thinking they could make some noise.
  13. I wouldnt say "lock" but 4 is probably the minimum to win a playoff game against Atlanta or Philly.
  14. His mechanics are really geared to an All or nothing approach. That big front foot lift if he misreads the speed at all he screwed. Add in that ridiculous launch angle and it's really a feast or famine approach
  15. Monty has a quick bat. Mechanically one of the best swings on the team.
  16. You just know he's going to walk him to load them.
