Been outscored 12 - 4 by Michigan so far this season. They are light years better defensively.

Beydoun looks bad today. They get so much better chances in close. Huge mismatched defensively.

That was fun. I think you're right about now or never with Caufield and Holloway. High end talent like that does not come along very often.

Yes, but I am not feeling confident. I watched the last few Gopher games and they have looked so good. My hope is the rivalry game gets the juices flowing for Bucky. I'm just glad to see improvement and reason for hope after the last decade+ of misery.

A couple of huge games this weekend with Minnesota in Minnesota. Really need at least a split.

Got out the broom. Spartans woke up the sleeping Badgers work a tieing goal in the 3rd and Bucky put on the jets with the next three. I'm starting to be a believer. Fun to watch when they get it going.

True on both all accounts. Certainly are playing better hockey right now.

The Spartans are not very good but it's still nice seeing them dominate a bad team. On Edit. Some of the Badger Moms are easy on the eyes.

Good start to this one. 3-0 Bucky with 5 minutes left in the first. Kind of like the telecast from leBahne. Closer to the ice and better contrast.

That was one of the more entertaining games I've watched in quite a while.

I checked the score and see they're playing well so I turn it on and within 5 minutes they give up two goals so I'm turning it off.

I forgot they played last night. Sounds like I did not miss much. Down 4 - 0 after one. I don't see this train turning around until we have a new conductor.

"Gotta have better effort on defense..” That's been a broken record for going on five years now.

Now four to two Arizona state in the second. A whole lot of standing around on defense. Make it five to two.

Getting out shot by Arizona state two to one in the first but have managed to get two goals on five shots. Defense looks a lot like last year with a whole lot of spectator defense

Always nice to beat those guys. They have been a PIA since they joined the league. Strange series to get out shot in both games but win both by multiple goals.

Frustrating game for sure. I think Michigan is one of the top 4 or 5 teams in the country, so the 3v3 loss is hardly anything to hang the hat on. The lack of chances tonight is concerning. Game 1 had 3 defensive zone breakdowns that led to 3 goals. D zone coverage has looked much better than last year in 3 of the 4 games. That is a really good Michigan team and a really strong goalie in Mann. Also have to remember they were missing Holloway for the weekend and out Pelton Byce tonight. Both guys would have seen the ice in 3v3. I'm just frustrated as i lived through golden years were Bucky was a real brand name in college hockey. It's been so long now that UW hockey is basically irrelevant and half of fans from the golden years are now on social security. Sadly i don't see the improvement that a coach in his 5th year with the resources at his disposal should have. In my eyes he is a good person and a decent recruiter but a poor coach.

Sure would be nice to know why they have been so dreadful on face offs for as long as Granato's been there. They have to be among the worst teams in college hockey on faceoffs.
