I wonder if there is even a minut chance they could get Steve Rohlick to come back to his alma mater. It's not going to happen with granato. Embarrassing performance this weekend.

Still won. I'll be there today with the fam for the afternoon start. Yeah they got the win but they were outplayed pretty much the whole night and are getting badly outplayed again today by the last place team in the league

Houston...... We've got a coaching problem. How can a team with this much talent be this bad at breakaways? They must be O for their last 20 on breakaways.

I had high hopes for Granato when he took over. That hope is gone. 2 and 5 over the last 7.

Solid win tonight against the golden domers. 3 to 0. Get out the brooms tomorrow night.

It's weird. Some games they look really good and others they look...meh. Although they got whooped last night they had a 37 - 22 advantage with the puck. Crazy they lost 6-1. Also, if they win tonight they will have 3 losses...all to possible tourny teams with 4 wins against possible tourny teams. It's really hard to win against good teams with very average goal tending. Especially the way the Badgers want to activate defensemen.

I really thought with the talent influx this team is going to be able to go toe-to-toe with Penn State but alas it's no contest I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that Granato is not the guy to turn this around.

Your not wrong. Need a better goalie. Kalynuk had been pretty bad so far this year as well. How can a team be this Dreadful at faceoffs for 4 years straight.

That's the new 'it' thing to get the defense on the heels and have speed entering the zone. It is annoying when it doesnt work, but I prefer it compared to Eaves dump and chase. It has its use but far too often this weekend they would try it with the defender right behind them and he ended up intercepting the pass.

My only gripe is i wish the would stop with the stupid backwards pass with a defender trailing.

I will say this freshman class is as good as advertised. There's some real goal scorers in that group.

This year's team has a lot of talent, but the goalie situation... It's early but the defense looks as bad as last year. Definitely more talent but man they make some dumb plays in the open Ice.

Had Saturday season tickets two years ago but did not renew them last year. Thinking about it again this year but not sure at the moment. It's time for this thing for turn around or Tony's butt should start feeling the heat.
