  1. Been flirting with trouble the last 3 innings.
  2. If your only going to have 6 hits or so in a game it's sure nice to get most of them in one inning.
  3. Not to often you can start a half inning with a walk and an error and not pay for it on the scoreboard.
  4. Even one more would improve the comfort level significantly.
  5. Wonder what the biggest inning they've had this year is.
  6. There's another one out there. Come on Canha.
  7. Game is a lot more fun when you score some runs.
  8. Yea that's a double and an error.
  9. Would be interesting to know who the fastest Brewer to ever wear the uni is.
  10. Brewers lately have been all about the big inning so let's see if they can turn this one into a nickel.
  11. CC will make one call that's all....to the bullpen.
  12. I played senior men's baseball in the 90s in Madison and I'm pretty sure Ray Searage or another Lefty that was once a brewer played in that League and I know I got to face Vern Gieshert who briefly pitched for the angels in 1969. Great guy. Pretty wide range of ability played in that League from guys who were 45 mph curveballs to guys that were reasonably good division 2 ball players and still could play at a pretty high level.
  13. I understand Big League hitters are a different situation but when I work with high school hitters My philosophy was..." The Further you start from the proper lanch point the more likely you are to never get there" And I absolutely hate too much front foot travel because if you miss time your foot movement by even the slightest amount you have no way to get your foot back on the ground and trigger on an inside pitch. Pitchers with variable delivery times and good change of pace can make life really miserable for high front leg lifts.
  14. I swear there were times when McClure would walk guys just so he could pick them off first.
  15. He's not even the second coming of Mike Caldwell or Billy Travers or Mike McClure. Let's see how many of you Young bucks recognize those names.
