    If they drop below 500 and fall four or five games back I could see them become sellers but I'm worried that as long as they're above 500 and sniffing first place the management team will be too scared of the public backlash of a sell-off.

    Not sure I would go quite that far and I am as big a Debbie downer as there is. That 5 game sweep by Pittsburgh a couple of years back was pretty horrid as well.

    A lot of the rule changes really neutered what council was good at in particular the addition of the DH. So much so that now he's nothing more than a cookie cutter manager like 90% of them.

    I really wish CC would have left weimer at the bottom of the order where he was. Started to have some success and was getting pitches he could handle. Now that you moved him up he's probably feeling more pressure to produce. Let the rookie be where he was

    Current standings aside its the Cardinals division to lose.

    The Brewers have been hurt by the addition of the DH. Back in the day we had some of the better hitting pitchers and Our starters were good at getting some easy outs at the end of lineups that allowed for longer starts. Now the starters have to work harder and the Brewers cant find a decent DH to save their butts.

    I will never understand the big front leg lift. Leaves you vulnerable to velocity change and make catching up to high fastballs nearly impossible on a regular basis.

    If some miracle Brian Branch the safety from Alabama is available at 13 they had better not pass on him.

    Yea they really got dominated once they went up by 2. Kind of surprising considering all the high end talent they put on the ice.

    It's odd as it sounds outside of our special teams coach I have zero faith in this coaching staff. MLF might be the least creative offensive mind in football.

    Sad but necessary. Really wanted him to succeed but sometimes good players make lousy coaches. Don't envy the next coaches job with how far the program has erroded.

    One more game and then the badger hockey program rebuild can begin. Although it's going to be a real uphill battle now that so many teams in the Big ten have better coaches and just as good a facilities. I mean if I'm a high level hockey recruit right now why would I want to go to Wisconsin?

    With tonight's loss the Badgers have locked up last place for the fourth time in 10 years since joining the Big 10. Never did I think in my lifetime they would fall to this level.
